I'm almost done with Summon Golem (R3, yay!)
And I got a ton of AP.
I'm mainly interested in the following skills...
Final Hit (R5 atm)
Production Mastery (more yummy Stamina to complement my future Gladiator title)
Alchemy Mastery (Royal Alchemist business + more damage for my Golems)
Party Healing (Iyasenu is just too pro at this, so I want this skill and its Master title)
Carpentry (eh, kinda. I'd have to go into Weaving though. do not want)
I'm mostly Melee. Not interested in Range or Magic atm. And I don't feel like ranking Defense or Counter for the time being. Most of my other skills are Rank 1. Got Windmill and Refine done as well.
I'm leaning towards the first three.
I just need a little push to decide.

Rank Production when you can. It's really not that much AP.
Carpentry, you won't need weaving for the letter ranks. Just do it when you have nothing else to do... and even then, thick thread you can make at low ranks.
I've been avoiding Alchemy so I can't give you much advice there, but I'd say rank FH and then the other two on the side.

Moving to questions and help... :P
Also, I suggest ranking Final Hit to rank 1. You say you have a lot of AP, and that's what FH is. Plus you get a lot of tasty Str, and that will help since you are mostly melee.
But, if you feel that you use alchemy more, by all means rank AM. Otherwise, I'd go with FH

Even at Rank Novice Weaving? haha
And sure, I'll rank Production Mastery along with whatever other skill I choose to rank. Question though... does it affect Carpentry?

Production Mastery when possible (which is... incredibly quick with making Paper Cranes by Handicraft).
Alchemy Mastery for that Golem pwnage.

PM should help with carpentry, but probably only on the crafting portion of it. And I guess with the added stam so you can keep chopping.
You can make thick thread at rN, though it might be at a lowish rate.
I think the wiki is lying to me, since I'm rA and my thin/thick thread success rate is 99%. I am at r1 prod and 270ish dex though.
Regardless, I'm sure you've got guildmates with ranked weaving; just send them materials and I'm sure they'd help you out next time they're idling at Dun.

Finish Ranking Golem, you said your about R3, Finish that first, and rank up Alchemy mastery. Not just for more power, but for size too. R2 AM golems are big.
Production mastery alongside Alchemy.
Technically Golem is also a Melee Skill thanks to the golem being nothing but raw power.

If your aching for more str go with carpentry

Alright, I'm gonna put Final Hit aside for a bit, since it's a bit costly AP-wise.
Gonna do both Masteries.
Thanks for helping me decide! Carpentry might have to wait for awhile.

Production Mastery ftw, followed by Alchemy mastery.
Then save up AP like me for the Earth masteries and cool melee skills in G13.

Production Mastery, Alchemy Mastery, Carpentry
With r1 Alchemy Mastery, you might actually hold on to your royal alchemist position.
