 That's still only about 4hours a day, and stretching the time is pointless, I'm sure you can do it faster than 20minutes too, there's always some way of speeding it up. I've done quite a few 3minute polar bear rungs, still haven't broken 3minutes though.
Mammoth Raid Speed Run:

Took 18 minutes, and that's with a very good party.
Normal runs take up to an hour.

Honestly If anything I hope they implement it to be 50 tokens once a day. Its not such a drag then and it should still get players to buy platinum tokens at that right. Either way honestly even if it goes in that rotation I can live with it really. Its not as bad as people make it to be. I mean its literally an hour doing 4 minute bear runs now due to extra factors and all with 4 tokens being charged.

Why IS there a token system? Why can't we just run dungeons as we please? We can do that in Mabinogi, for example, and since when was that a problem?
Honestly, even though I haven't hit the token limit yet (well I've come close but still)... Knowing that it's there is really annoying. I'm glad I've already finished the Hoarfrost Hollow quests, but the 3rd boat will surely have the same system and I wouldn't be surprised if later dungeons had the same system as well.

Every boat other than perilous ruins uses tokens.

Only 4 hours a day... O__O
Just how long do you play per day D:

There is a way to farm tokens easily, but it requires getting someone to willingly kill themselves while running perilous ruins and using phoenix feathers on them to get seals of dedication which can be turned in for tokens. It doesn't really come in handy unless you plan on spam white tyrant with a large group of ppl a crap load of times.

IIRC, there's a limit on the number of seals you can trade in in a certain period of time

Looks like we'll have to actually use this token planning guide now! D:
And maybe we should expand that guide to include like... 70 tokens, 80 tokens, and 90 tokens >_> depending on how much you're willing to die and run newbie runs for dedication seals <_< Though... that might sound sorta excessive xD

IIRC, seal trading is limited to once a week or something.

I thought it was once per day o_o And also... the chart seems to be off... we get 7 trips for 2 tokens each, not 6.

Kueh wrote on 2010-10-21 03:28
I think the 7th trip takes 3

You have to watch the definition of 'day' here also. Say you play at 11PM Monday, and then again at 8PM Tuesday. Even though it's a different physical day, it would appear your boat trips don't reset until you hit 11PM Tuesday. In short, I believe it takes your first boat trip time, adds 24 hours and that's your new day, regardless of if you played on two separate days.
So that means they are limiting the times you play also if you want to be efficient. I'd like it if boat trips would just reset at 12AM no matter what time you started playing at, as it is now, it's really easy to start racking up 3 Token trips if you play before they want you to. This becomes a major problem when you want to do AP quests as well as XP or story quests...

Hi there!
Thanks for writing up this guide! =)
One thing bothers me though: The game allows you to trade in for tokens once per day, giving you a maximum of 90 or 80 tokens per reset.
I tested this yesterday and it does seem like you can indeed exchange tokens daily.

Odd, I traded in tokens yesterday and I can't trade them in today...

Also depends on when you tried trading it in again today. The game seems to reset most things at 1PM EST. So if you tried before then, it was probably still "Yesterday"
