Issue with Nexon.

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. Hey guys, I know I haven't used this site in a while. But since August 25th I haven't been able to play any Nexon games.

First of all, my browser is Safari.
The issue I'm having is that I can't play any Nexon games including Mabinogi.
When I visit Nexon.net it takes forever to load up and when it does, it says "Safari canâ€™t open the page â€œhttp://www.nexon.net/â€ because the server where this page is located isnâ€™t responding."
I was like "Ok... doesn't matter since I can go through files and launch Mabinogi."

So I go through my directory and find Mabinogi. It launches successfully but when I log in, it says "Invalid ID or Password." And I'm 100% sure they are not incorrect.
So I had Combat Arms on my desktop, I tried that out. The error I get is "Cannot connect to Server." I was surprised.

Does anyone know what's wrong with this? I've lost 300 freinds and I'm really pissed off. I wasn't that mad at first because I thought I could get more done with my life. But now it's really bugging me. I was thinking of getting a Laptop for my Birthday but I wanna see if I could save that money incase its just an error. Please help me. Thanks.

have you tried launching it with other browsers, it works with firefox and chrome

I've tried Internet Explorer.
Downloading Chrome to see if it makes a difference.

Yes. I've even tried all my other Passwords that I use. And I doubt that would even be the problem. The fact that I can't get on Nexon's Site wouldn't be affected by my password.

Try logging in with a different computer or location. Then you can isolate the problem down to you, or them.

Is there any chance you're on filtered internet and nexon.net got blocked?

Think you just go to router page and change the blocked sites or something.

It does seem like you've got a block of some sort.
I don't know how to unblock it though... There's all kinds of 'protection'/'parental control' soft/hard ware.
Seems like the easiest thing to do would be ask who ever has control of your internet to unblock it .-.

I just want to say the issue is fixed. It turned out to be a 1 month (around 1 month) ban.
Wrongfully banned. Great going Nexon.
