  If people watch/hear you charge it then they just wait for it to time out. So its possible to get out, of course, but its pretty possible to make it an infinite combo, too.

  The worse combo I got caught in is Charge - > Frozen Blast - > Hit me with poison weapon - > recharge frozen blast - > refreeze me - > hit me with poison.... at a 1% duel. xD

  Eh, I dont like Pvp. Too many people like the bomb user, whom thinks this is where if you pay you instantly win. There are a few games like that but rarely. I think Mabinogi is very balanced in terms of what you can and cannot buy with nx.
  Anywho I wouldn't know. I don't pvp. Closest thing might have been that CTF event.(God I loved that event!!!)

  One that really pisses me off is rank 1 firebolt, charge and then smash. Even though charge has a cooldown, the person who gets caught in that combo is instantly in the vicegrip of the other person because you can just load firebolt and drag out some time while both people are in range.

  That being said, every duel is either slow, the same tactics, or messing around. I only do duels that involve no passive defenses and 2h weapons/no shields only on 5%/10%, with the usual "No FH/potion/Mana Shield/poison" and no Full Swing (so it means only Humans/Giants). It's fast, it's clean, it's reliant on melee skills and bluffing, it's punishing, but it's freaking fun.

  A pet smash can counter skills like Final Hit, while pet swiping/bolt spamming can divert your opponent's attention (thus reducing their effectiveness) and force them to switch up their strategy. Dueling with pets adds a whole new level of strategy to duels.
  
  The only exception? No poison. That includes cobras.

  Ice Wand upgraded for reduced Mana Evaporation on main. Combat Wand on secondary.
  My pet distracts your pet (bolt spam?).
  Ice Spear, switch, and Blaze.
  
  Game Over, even at 10%. No real pet skills needed, cheap combos are still cheap combos.
  
  Alternatively with Final Hit, it's not hard to get both the pet and the player stuck in Final Hit stun. All you have to do is stop hitting the player, run in the opposite direction the pet is coming from, and then splash both when the pet steps on top of the player.

  Our KR server has even gone to a point where Passive Defenses are treated fair.
  Honestly though, with the exception of Ice Spear, Frozen Blast, Mirrage Missile and Mana Shield (( and maybe NX items.))
  I don't see why people call it cheep.
  They don't help much when your dueling a pro :XD:

  It'll be pretty hard to pull off the ice spear if opponent magic camps you. Also, pets can be unsummoned and replaced.
