Why should I re-download Mabinogi?

  For the last 4 months, I've rarely gotten on Mabinogi.
  
  My Skills are as followed:
  
  R1 Ranged
  R1 AR
  R1 Refine
  R1 Prod Mastery
  R1 Magnum
  R3 Crit
  
  I have 160 AP and getting more slowly, I'm in the guild Ethereal(Mari).
  
  But recently, I've had to reformat twice and see no point in downloading Mabinogi(and my billions of mods/lag fixes). So what keeps you guys playing it... I don't really find the story to interesting, and the rest of the skills I need, like windmill, weaving, crit, will take TONS of time/playing to get the stuff I need to rank them.(a lot for -CP armor for windmill, tons of gold/time for weaving, and tons of time for crit). I don't rebirth weekly, I don't Gachahore, I buy NX when I want a cool pet(Next one is a dragon if I still remember by then).
  
  So tl;dr... WHY SHOULD I PLAY THIS GAME STILL :what:

  I play this game because I just want more r1 skills... regardless if I actually use them or not. If you are questioning why should you even come back to this game, I think it is already over for you.

  Well, PvE = Lag wins. PvP = Unbalanced as an ape & chimp on a teeter-totter. So I don't really see anything in the game to do. Seeing as "Melee is better than Ranged" And it's true... oh so very true.

  Mabinogi is such a time-consuming game... You could come back and get crash shot, and live off of rafting.

  Like everyone else said, if you're already asking why you should go back, you shouldn't. You shouldn't need to be convinced to play. That's like forcing yourself to play. Unless you can have fun with your friends on mabi, there's no point.

  Melee is pretty ridiculous right now but we can at least look forward to Bow/Crossbow Mastery. Those skills should hopefully improve ranged combat enough for Human Archers to compete with Human Melee.
  
  Seriously, Elsinore + Spirit Broad is ridiculous.
  
  Although if you really don't enjoy the game any more, you shouldn't come back to it...at least not for any significant amount of time.

  Metallurgy is pretty neat, since you get free ego food, especially if you convert metals with the ores.
  Unless you're rich. Then you're probably used to buying gems or NPC food.
  
  You could goof off some times. Like raise a random skill for the heck of it. Like when I boosted barrier spikes/water cannon/rain casting/frag.
  I'm not really gonna use them all that often, but they were a neat diversion.
  
  And cuz you're on Mari. The best server out of all. /bias
  
  [s]Mabi[/s] Everything gets stale if you do the same thing over and over...
  
  Maybe try mixing it up? Find some active players who wanna do stuff with ya.
