Did the new update break it again? Btw do you have to delete the 3321...hfs file anymore?
-
PandaSong wrote on 2010-12-03 21:21
You have to delete the hsf file every single time they patch, which is why it seems like it broke. :)

Weird cuz last time it just made her mute and keeping allowed the voice pack to work, this was right after Dec. 1st patch. Before that I would delete the 332...hfs file.

You need to delete the 332 file and put in the new files that Heretic gave as a download, or rename your own. Deleting the 332 file with the old names will make all voices mute, I had that happen to me myself, lol.

Just to clarify for sanity, what Panda means by renaming, I believe she means just taking away the _english from the end of each voice file. That's what I had to do in lieu with deleting the HFS to get around the mute problem, which honestly I'd rather have than the 'default' voices, lol.

She. D:!
And I mean, it's exactly like how you did it before.. but with a different way of renaming it. You have to put the _usa_ in front of the Korean files and take out the _english. Then you have to delete the 332 file again. You will have to do this every single time there is a patch.
But like I said, just download Heretic's file and put it in instead of doing it yourself. It's much easier.

I didn't have to put the _usa_ O.o My files don't have anything following them, that's odd.

I said that in my last post, didn't I? O.o *ninja edit*

So when Karok comes out, the mod will break as you don't have all the Karok voice files.
Remind me again when Karok comes out in the US version so I can put the voices in.

If there isn't anything after the name, it'll just play whatever you got.

It won't break. It will just play patchwork voices for Karok.

Well. D: I've only had mine with what Heretic put in, and when I did try not adding the _usa, I ended up getting no sound at all for my characters.. which was pretty darn annoying. :( I love having my SFX sounds with my music on in the background.
Though.. I think I might be muting Karok. Or hopefully they'll come out with nice sounding ones in English.

Oh sorry for not explaining properly. What I meant is that the current hfs already has the full set of Karok voices, and if and when Karok is implemented, Karok will get no sounds using the existing zip file we have. I will be uploading a new zip file with the korean Karok voices if and when we get Karok.

Well we already have some of the Korean Karok. What I meant by patchwork was that he would have some voices being Korean and some being Engrish.
That's what I'm doing right now, since I only like some sounds better in Korean.

Actually, the zip file I uploaded has the Karok voices in there, just not named in the _usa_ format.
