  Basically you would like elves to use magic more? Consider this. They have their hax magnum speed, hax range speed, final shot, and slightly better dexterity (I think it's around 16 more now). In magic, they have almost no advantages besides Ice Spear taking 20MP at rank 1. Why would they even create an elf to be a magic user?

  You are not looking hard enough then; because i see it daily; if not daily then weekly at the least.
  Somtimes this game isnt just a game to PVPer's; they want to see the other side dead and fast; and camp till they log off. Elf Siders gang upon the Giant siders; and until recently the only way giants fought back is with Giant sided Humans; im not saying just Giant VS Elf; but the Humans that side with each race.
  
  From what ive gathered; there are people who like it hard to play the game; and people who want the easy route out; and choose the easiest skills and races to do just that in the fastest way possible.
  Im ending my Elf Hatred Rant here; try not to hold too much against me to what im biased against; i just dont like seeing the game being 50+% elves.
  (I would have loved Fracture in on this too)

  Haha. Saying that elves are cheap for using range is like saying humans are cheap for dual-wielding. "People are cheap for using what the game built them for!"
  If me killing things faster so that said things won't kill me means using range, it's only logical that I will use range. This is another reason I hate EvG and PvP. There are a lot of people that will definitely use the advantages the game gave them (versatility, dual-wielding, 2-handers, etc), but when an elf uses his/her advantage, it's suddenly "cheap".

  This happens in any game because their main character/character they play doesn't have the ability to shoot 2 arrows, or run faster, etc etc (Using Mabinogi for relevance). Simple solution is to make an alt of that race or class, sadly most won't do that so they QQ anyway

  I think PVP in general causes a lot of rage. So many times have I read threads/seen drama in-game about it...but then, it's also kind of amusing to watch two people spazz at each other during a duel.

  I always recommend my elf friend to build on her range and use range as a main attack because neither of us think magic main is worth the MP pot cost. I tried using CC firebolt once in a glowing karu dungeon as my main attack and I ended up using something like 10 stacks of MP 100s. x.x I mean, for people who like to play mages, they can dish out the money for those MP pots, but we'd prefer something less costly. Although my sword repairs are already costly enough...

  Well, that is one reason why many people play humans though. They can just choose all the "easy" skills (whatever that means), and be good at everything.

  Actually Humans haves the hardest time in low lvls because they don't have a specialized skill :T_T:
  (Don' know about other servers, but the reason majority is Human in KR is because there were no elves or giants when most started the game. We all know that its going to take more then weeks to get a total lvl of 1k+)
  
  But I won't dare say Elves and giants are easy.
  They do have their own nightmares.
  I've learned these after training my alts(elf&giants).
  Even with some of the best equipments, elves will just lay down on the ground when an enemy hits'em.
  Giants have no way out of 1 : 3(or above).
  Heck they don't even have a ranged skill... oh wait yes they do but I refuse to call that a ranged skill !!

The stereotype about campers in EvG usually being elves is fairly true. The reason for that is that the qualities that elves have, quick ranged skills for easy camping, attract more buttholes than the melee-oriented giants.

  Your forgetting all of the AR humans who are on the Giant side, most of the (not all of course) humans I've seen on Giant side have AR, and don't say Elves aren't easy to camp with AR. It looks damn easy to me. I'd say there are 1.5 elves to 1 giant/allied human (in theory, because you can't have 1.5 of an Elf LOL)

  I think that all the debates about Elf vs Giant vs Human are void when you realize that most people's mains are their first character. I, for one, did not know anything about all this elf/giant drama until I played for a good 100 or so levels.
  
  I also don't think I should vote considering you can play every race to some degree. You sort of start liking skills as you play with them more (like I hated how often I missed when I first started my elf, was planning on going back to WM spamming on a human).
  
  Oh, and the game practically beats every new elf to death saying RANGED RANGED RANGED. I assume the same is said to giants with MELEE MELEE MELEE.
