First off, Bumble's a hardworker and had helped Curse with the Wiki for about two months or so before even being hired. I don't suppose you're going to complain about that? If someone works hard, they should be rewarded for their efforts. Is there something wrong with that?
No and I wasn't complaining about it, I was informing. Everyone seemed to think it was ran by Nexon before that.

Next, I do believe that I attempted to talk things out with you without getting too hostile, but maybe I'm wrong. You had gone through and reuploaded many pictures which did not really need to be reuploaded, and as you've noticed (as evidenced by when you said "Right, well... the Wiki is loading like a sloth, so that's all for now."), the server that the Wiki is running on isn't exactly Road Runner speed at the moment. Reuploading those images takes away from the space we have for other pages.
As I've stated before, they did need reuploaded because they were inferior. That's how wikis work. Inferior information gets replaced by better information. If the server can't handle that, then maybe someone needs to start hitting up Curse or Nexon for some better servers.

Also, how did I "*****" at you? We just told you, in a nutshell, that the images you uploaded didn't follow the guidelines (which I'll address later) and that those reuploads were unnecessary. The first provocative statement, I believe, was made by you when you said "[...] They sucked [...] Mine look a lot better [...] Sounds stupid to me". Maybe they do suck, and maybe your images do look better, but we have to think about practicality. I don't think a large number of Wiki users go to the Wiki just to see screenshots of a girl wearing tight leather pants. These screenshots are meant to be supplemental and additional information -- not the main focus of the page.
I didn't need two people to tell me the same thing, nor such condescending attitudes. Saiyr's comment basically comes across as "Wow, you're bad. Stop using the wiki." Then you come along and reinforce it for no particular reason. What's that? Adding information to something that didn't need it? I believe
someone told me not to do something like that at some point...
Oh yeah.
Practicality? If people are going to look at the images, they want to see how they will ideally look. They don't want to see ugly basic armor, they want to see what the cleavage will look like and how they should think about coloring their inner armor. It's not for perverse purposes.
They also don't need some fancy pose with the girl's hand on her hip to make her butt look better when it's picture's of a frackin' glove and you can't even see the glove in the picture because it's on the other side of her hip. That's practicality. Actually being able to
see what you want to look at. Not some stupid pose.

I realize that the guidelines aren't exactly in-your-face, but some of us have other things to do such as making the Wiki easier to navigate or trying to do well in school in real life. We're humans too and sometimes life gets very stressful -- I hope you understand that. I also realize that you've got problems with the guidelines and maybe you could suggest better alternatives for us in regards to the portrayal of equipment images rather than just saying "it's stupid".
Yeah well some of us have better things to do like adding information to the wiki or "trying to do well in school in real life" than having to look up stupid Nazi guidelines every time we want to add something. "We're humans too and sometimes life gets very stressful," which obviously makes it a PITA for us to have to look that crap up.
That's a crap excuse, honestly. Life is hard, so deal with it. It's no excuse for having terrible guidelines. We all have real lives. Actually being a human being doesn't give you special needs that other people don't also have.
And better things to do than what exactly? Adding a link to the Guidelines on A) The main page, or B) the image upload page? It's so hard, I know. It might actually take a whole 30 seconds and be too stressful for you, what with your stressful school life and all.
You want my advice for the equipment image guidelines? Sure, I think it's pretty simple: Remove the pose guidelines.
This is the only rule necessary:
"All screenshots must be taken in the Avatar Shop or Dye Shop, and your character should be wearing only the equipment necessary!"
Honestly, I might consider adding that they should be wearing one of the NX Inner Armors like Captivating Scent since you can just try them on in the Avatar shop without having to buy them anyways. Why? Because it better displays what the armors look like and how they will display the inner armor.
I wouldn't enforce them though. Why? You don't need to. If a newer version looks better than the previous then it should be taken instead. Doesn't need to be a rule. You just come across as a bunch of overcontrolling nazis and that's not the image you want.
The Equipment Image page might be improved by adding a 3rd image though, a "broken" equipment image. What the set looks like when it's destroyed. The Korean site has it and I think it's pretty neat.
And while we're talking... For the love of god, can I make a new skin for the wiki? It's horrid right now. The background image is icky and the logo is an eyesore.
Also...
Because Vindictus Wiki uses those info boxes, it's really hard to edit anything since you have to have basic knowledge of infobox (which I am still a novice, but ampersand slowly taught me some) much less create a new page without first trying to make a new infobox. Heck, I know a lot of dedicated players who wants to add information, however the infoboxes are really unfriendly.
Sure it makes the wiki look nice, but normal players would have problems editing it, that's why there isn't as much dedication to it.
That is what I was saying
here, which was ignored. I wanted to add information and it took me agessssss to figure out how to add stuff with the way the wiki is setup. It's not user friendly.
