That is Hard Mode.
Maybe ESB won't be ideal for bad connections, but I don't think the other bows can outperform it.
The ESB is also the best bow when catering to end game elf play. Stun probably doesn't matter when pretty much everything is dead in the first or second shot anyway.
Though I like all bows, they're fun to switch between.
I can't wait to get my hands on a +4 dur ESB and take it the 103 path, probably put Glorious Spike Enchants on it... and that's an ACE bow right there...but then again any bow with glorious spike is probably top of the line.
That video actually has in it exactly what I'm worried about when using ESB: around like 0:55 and again at 2:34 or so the elf misses a shot and gets whacked in the face; they recover in the video but it's definitely possible in some places (and depending on your HP and what not) that you might not recover and end up dying. Aside from that though, in terms of raw stats overall (Max and crit), ESB is definitely the champ; I guess it's one of those really hard to use bows that are really rewarding when you can use them.

I rarely use leather long bows. I love composite bows, especially 14 dur ones that drop from Red Bears. I have about 5 of them, fully upgraded with +Max attack and +Critical.

Keep in mind that higher range --> faster aim --> higher dps & lower chance of missing.
Let those mags fly!

How significant is an additional 100 range? (That's between highest range of LLB and ELB.)
And how far is that?

Generally, I would use a ESB/xbow/composite bow for PvP.
Loks like that elf in the video got some crazy crit @_@

The difference between each of the WM range upgrades.

I can't say, I don't pay attention to my numbers. Although, ELB modded for max range has lame max/crit.
I had bad experiences with xbow at minimum range, but perhaps the aim speed change is less significant at higher ranges.
edit: My ego llb nails magnums much better than my normal llbs, so I think it's significant at any range. I'd hazard that 100 more range gives ~5% more hit rate on magnums at long ranges. Very variable, but I think significant.

I don't personally like LLBs.
My human ranger usually uses Composite bow, Crossbow, or Elven Long Bow (can be Andras' Bow too).

For me when it comes to range, it's all about... range. I don't care about the damage it can do so much as how far away I can snipe something. That's where I get my fun from range, shooting a bear from somewhere it can't even see me is fun D:
I'm not familiar with the new bows, but whatever has the highest range is what I would go for just because it's fun.

How does that work again?

Higher range --> faster aim rate, that's just the way the game is made. I hacked off 600 range from my xbow and it sucked. My ego llb aims very quickly, so I think aim rate is just a function of max range.
Faster aim rate means less aiming/missing!

LLBs will always be a solid pick when it comes to Egos. It may be overshadowed by the variety of bows we now have access to but it's still a solid choice for an un-upgraded (and even upgraded) bow.
The only reason I still use LLBs myself is because it's something i can prof passively for when my ego needs repairs or to make a quick buck when it's finally maxed out.
I have a nice 127 ESB that I keep for difficult dungeons though or for when I need that crit boost with a possible 190 LLB or 103 ESB on the way for further damage/range compensation.

Wingbow Reward from beating red dragon (drop), Ringbow (chance of getting it from wyvern mini game 10 big stars, Or perfectly restored pelvis fossil which is impossible). LLB is still the best.

Mmm ok. I just don't want to switch to a LLB ego.
100 range at close combat is quite useful but I wonder if it will be for range. Maybe it allows to buy a few seconds from any monster.
