North America's Hate for Giants.

  Its not just NA Nexon, Nexon as a whole need to learn to listen to their customers.
  KR Nexon also refuses to fix bugs, and it took them half a year to fix freezing bugs that caused alot of elves to quit the game.
  They're also known for one of the worst server maintanence.
  Every single game they service here have cash-only items.(Yes, even games like Counter-Strike Online have cash-only weapons for sale)

  It was even rare to see giants because
  1) there was no Female Giants available when they first came out
  2) Few numbers of equipable items
  3) Melee-Only concept, at the time, was just ... you know... :(
  4) Full swing wasn't even considered a noticeable skill cause nobody r1'ed it yet.
  
  Yes, after the discovery of Full Swing & Stomp's greatness did some people start showing interest
  After G12 there was a noticable increase in numbers but not that much
  For every Giant you see there will be like 15 - 30 Humans/Elfs around them

  And Vejosa has to be the strongest, most epic Giantess Mage in the world. Giants are avoided with basically everything but still have the most beastest equipment, beastest skills and when made a mage, take poop from no one. Your a Hybrid Human? Pfft I'm a Giant Mage which makes me better then you. Giant's potential is looked upon by everything including Nexon which makes them obsolete and rare. To Bad Giants are awesome when made godly.
  
  Giants Rule. Nexon needs to give them more cookies. I want to make one.

  Never. The Pleione Engine + Capes just won't work. Have you seen clothes that emulate having capes (Aodhan's Klaus Armor and the Edekai Priest Robe (M) for example)? The "capes" stick to the body. So if we had capes in the game, they would just follow the person's body and not float about like how you would imagine a cape. So I'd wait for Mabi 2 before asking for capes.

  So your telling me....that even though they have a slot for robes/capes, they would need to change the entire engine for them to work? I cant even get a little half cape?

  Thats prob why Mabi2 is showing of its "REALISTIC" graphic
  Because the original Mabinogi's engine isn't capable of realistic clothing.

  Basically, yes. Sure, they could design something with half a cape, and they did, the Dashing Gothic Cape Suit, which is equipable by Giants, but it's not the kind of cape you're talking about, since this cape covers all parts of the chest and not just the upper back.

  I think the main reason people dont play on giants is because theres no range involved. Magic yes but no range. There missing a branch of combat which is hindering. And the clothes. Selina is one of the only good things on male giants. Its pretty sad.

  Yes, giants are designed to be combat types, but we can still use magic. We can use all passive magic skills, can become a Mage class type, can wear trinity, and hebona which are mage type clothing, and to my knoweldge (unless i'm suddenly blind) it was Korean mabinogi that created those Magician outfits for giants.
  
  yes KR Dev standpoint> all but really until a KR dev tells you what thier standpoint is you shouldnt assume you know what it is. (hell I dont even know what the standpoint is).

  
  
  There was a Korean Developer Diary when they had the giant release, the idea has changed a lot, but honestly, giants make complication on thought, then how the game WORKS with it. PMGs, Animations, all of it is completely different then elf/humans, it's much different which people who have tried to mod files for it know (Mostly because not many can even succeed at that compared to how many succeed with the human/elf files).
  I'll dig that Developer Diary up later if its still up, but you have to take things into account with this.
  
  And I know NA didn't MAKE the giant halloween costume, just simply let's put it as "They changed too much in the client for it to be an easy addition" especially if KR added it really last minute.
  
  Besides, I haven't said anything about giants going with magic have I? If they wanted giants to be raw melee they would have disabled the advanced magic quests for them to begin with, but they didn't, which is why it's up for giant-mages to defy the "logical" or "easier" choice for what could be more fun, or stronger.
  
  Now I'm sure if you can get a decent group of people you could make a difference on this, but even then, the way to get things through to them, is, well, iffy. I know I remember a protest in some games proposing additions and changes and showed them their own work to show how serious they were, but I doubt anyone will do that, it could work though since KR Nexon/Devcat aren't as much as a jerk then NA.
