You can undoubtedly raft for braids, even if they nerf it. If you solo, you can get 15 braids per trip. 10 rafts >>> gathering all that stuff and making it yourself.

Yea...really considering this.

10 rafts take about 3 hours solo. Which beats making thick/thin threads and I'm very much in favour of it since it's very difficult or expensive to buy this.
While I'll take 2 hours for ingots solo and slightly less if duo.
Whatever the case it takes a lot of time. I wonder if my schedule will allow it since I hold a part-time job after school for a few days per week.
And free rebirth might be better for me as well since everything takes so much time...but I need to see since I might need extra AP for thunder R1.

I might be able to make some gold through rafting too if I sell the excess mana potions, stiff swords and selected herbs. I'm wondering what else I can do.

The next thing I need to do is to rank up my thunder from 9 to 6 so that I can hit 3 at one charge, and this means sacrificing a big chunk of saved AP originally intended for G13 update to this.

Actually, I'm fairly certain that 10 rafts should only take you about ... 1.5 hours solo. o-o You can fit in about three rafts per mabi day, if you suicide at the end of the last leg in order to destroy raft and claim prizes faster. :x

How many leathers can you expect to get in 1 hour?
I think I'll still do collecting for it from buying because it's not realistic to be hunting for leathers in mass amounts.

honestly, not that many. In +drop day you can get 3~5 per run

Well, rank 1 blacksmiths are quite powerful economically on the server...especially after making blacksmith stuff to sell, so it takes tons of hard work and tons of money to be able to make more money.

Of course, but you'll never make enough from those little items in order to cover the costs of blacksmithing as a whole. Thus, it's not profitable. You can probably barely break even? If you're going slowly with blacksmithing. I mean, looking over the intense buying schedule that Yogurticescream put up, it's fairly safe to say that it's impossible to make 4mil a day for a year, just by selling the above items. :\

I'm probably just pessimistic because of the general economy in Ruairi right now. I mean, you've seen it too ;v Valencias going for 400-500k each loolol. :gloom2:

I'm worried too. The other alternative is to not aim for Rank 1, but something like Rank 5 or 6 by next year.
That's extending the schedule but at least it will not burn me out completely. So I need to replan this schedule.
I am happy that I have secured a few suppliers of leather as well. Collecting leathers remain my top priority.
