  My fellow [s]underlings[/s] citizens of MabiNation. I bring upon you good news. For you see, the staff has been thinking lately that we are in need of some events for the community. As seen with my attempt to get a fun event going, and people either being too cheap, or too scared to join, Byte, with the staff's approval, thought of having the community themselves come up with ideas. And what better way of doing that than by making a whole new branch of users specifically chosen to come up with ideas. But of course, we need people to fill this role, so that's why I am now bringing you this announcement.
  
  We are currently looking for 5 members to become the forum's Event Helpers. With the postion comes your own special section where you can discuss ideas with the other Event Helpers and the moderation staff. Event Helpers will also get their own special name color and an image in their title that shows off that you are a member of the staff.
  
  However, do know that if you are chosen to become an Event Helper, that it is NOT a permanent position, and every 3-4 months, we'll start accepting applications again to hire new Event Helpers. This way, everyone has a fair chance of being a part of the staff, and will allow more diverse event ideas to be presented to the staff and shared with the community. But do know that if you are an Event Helper, and the end of your term comes up and you're in the middle of discussions with the moderation staff, then you'll keep your position until discussions are closed and your ideas have been shared.
  
  So, if you would like to apply, and have 300+ posts outside of Bean Rua, or at least been active within the community since August, then please send a PM to either Byte or myself with an example event idea and a reason as to why you think you'll be a good addition to the staff. Applications will no longer be accepted after the 23th of November, so if you qualify, and would like the position, you better hurry and do so, since it's only a week and a half away. And please don't reply to this thread asking for a position. It'll weigh heavily on the staff's decision should you not follow the only rule for applying.
