Tips on getting the most out of the Double Rainbow Event! Most info for SM.

  Lol the title is kind of fruity even for Nexon but w/e they want to do with their game is up to them xD, I can just see the taste the rainbow slogan now...

  So as the title suggests I will be explain how to get the most out of this event.
  
  OK first lets go over what you should do to pass the time without leveling (unless you will have a rebirth by the time the event comes along).

  [SIZE="4"] [B]Suggestion #1:[/SIZE]
  What?: Farming
  Why?: Money
  When?: NOW!
  More info: You will need money for repairs during the event, and since you don't want to be running around doing part time jobs or wasting your time in dungeons when you could get exp alot faster in Shadow Missions. Now I suggest doing something small since you'll want to be mostly done by the time the event starts.

  Suggestion #2:[/SIZE]
  What?: Holy Water
  Why?: Money or Blessings
  When?: Every chance you get
  More Info: To decrease the amount of money needed for repairs you will want all your equipment blessed. It would be best to have atleast 5 holy waters on hand at all time during the event, but I suggest 10(that should last you a weekend, unless you really suck and before everyone goes I only use 1 blessing, hey lags happen and its best to be prepared because you never know when you could die by some fluke and lose 1-3 of your prized item's blessings). If you need money then this is another good source but worry about your need for blessings first.
  
  [SIZE="4"] Suggestion #3:[/SIZE]
  What?: Proffing
  Why?: To get an ego or to upgrade your weapons
  When?: ASAP
  More Info: For obvious reasons you will want your weapons in prime condition. The more power you have behind you the fast you can go through a shadow mission or dungeon and the faster you level meaning higher ranks :D. As they say in Lion King, its the circle of life. Power = More Power. Simple equation even for someone who failed math :D. Best way is if you have a mule who is over age 25 who can prof your weapon quickly. Especially on Tuesdays.

  Suggestion #4:[/SIZE]
  What?: Gather Raiding and Mission Team
  Why?: So your prepared for maximum leveling
  When?: Over the course of the week
  More Info: The more people you have, especially in the case of Shadow Missions, means the more exp you get. Now sometimes plans change so make sure you have backup people too. If you can't find a team, channel 1 at the alters is a great way to gather a team.

  Now that we know how to be most prepared for the upcoming event of epicness, lets get into what you should do when the event starts.
  
  Lets do this in a step by step manner to not confuse people :D
  
  [SIZE="4"]1.[/SIZE] Check your equipment and medical supplies. (I have seen to many "pros" die or fail to support their team because they were over confident)
  
  [SIZE="4"]2.[/SIZE] If you have pets make sure they are in peak condition
  
  [SIZE="4"]3.[/SIZE] Make sure your skills are set before hand. If you like to use trans I suggest transforming before hand to make sure your trans skills are in order too. (Yes your trans skills can be in a different order in some cases, I don't know why but it happens.)

  4.[/SIZE] Make sure your pets have bandages and such.
  
  [SIZE="4"]5.[/SIZE] Make sure your party has medical gear.
  
  [SIZE="4"]6.[/SIZE] Get your team ready and seperate your team into groups of 2-4 depending on levels. Best combination is a good human or giant warrior, a mage and a ranger but if you don't have those resources available then just go with a warrior of the human or giant species and a mage or ranger in pairs. Also make sure each group has levels that average out to the same amount so that you can cover the weaker members with stronger members and that everyone has party chat on so that you can give orders from across the map.
  
  [SIZE="4"]7.[/SIZE] Stress the fact on your team of keeping their gear in peak condition.
  
  Warning: Do not put too much trust on transformations or final hit/shot as I have seen lags that cause these to fail. They are rare but again it can happen.
  
  [SIZE="4"]8.[/SIZE] Now that you are prepared, try out an easy shadow mission to see if your team can work well. I would also suggest mock runs earlier in the game, but that could level you causing half the AP you would normally get. Still its a good stragedy.
  [SIZE="4"]
  9.[/SIZE] Always start small and work your way up so that you don't waste time or money and always keep your weapons in the best condition possible.

  Now that we know how to be at peak performance, lets talk about things to increase the outcome of this event.
  
  [SIZE="4"]Rebirth:[/SIZE] Its pretty obvious. By RBing you can gain anywere from 20-60 levels(just an estimate on my prevous experiences) which is 40-120 AP! So if you have money then Rebirth. But only buy one card as you can only rb a character once a week.
  
  [SIZE="4"]2x Exp Potion:[/SIZE] With these little guys you can gain four times the exp instead of just double.
  
  [SIZE="4"]Cooking Event:[/SIZE] By eating food that is made by the cooking skill and being around a fire sitting, while sharing(as far as I understand) you get exp accordingly. Here is the official page:

  A good, quick and easy SM for the melee-inclined and a high rank of WM would be Their Method, preferably Int or Basic. The Zombies themselves give quite a lot of gold to fund your repairs and Stamina pots, and it's 50k EXP+ with each run that you complete. If you can complete it within 5 minutes or less, then it's way quicker than other missions since you don't have to wait on others or search for parties and whatnot. The SM board is also right there, so it's even more spammable.

  Your guide seems to speak specifically of preparing for the event. Which is perfectly fine by me. It might help to discuss the most efficient methods of leveling for particular builds and levels, though. (Shadow Cast City, Shadow Warrior, rafting for exploration exp, etc.)

  How about massive amount of HP pots for infinite DK for many hours? lol. If you are really deep in pot poison, those 30 hp pots sure are really good at keeping that DK while you spam WM.

  Why you would run TM on anything lower than the highest difficulty you can enter is beyond me. Any melee worth their salt ought to be able to complete TM hard in no more than 12 or 13 minutes, for about 5 times that much exp. Those with better damage should be able to do sub-10 minute runs.

  You still fail at math because power = x more = y
  So your forumla should look something like x = x+y but obviously thats still wrong. Har de har har. Lol. jk.

  Ya I didn't want to do the last one, but had a few disappointed notes so I did it just to stop being bugged (Obviously it has been more annoying with the notes about how bad it was...) :) and lol thats some nice exp.

  TM Hard is faster if you can run under 10 minutes consistently; about 366k/run on 4x/2x, 256k/run with no 2x pot. SCC Int is even faster if you can run in about 4 minutes.

  TM is less demand then SCC since it is so laid back. It requires less in terms of concentration but requires more power since those Zombies have a good 1.6k hp and a eff load of Defense and protection (40/59) but only requires sp potions. TM HM can get around 368k EXP with Premium services' 10% exp boost and x4 exp. It will also be better gold wise if you run SCC HM with a group unless you can get all the finishers in SCC HM.
  
  You are more suspect to death in SCC as you are working with possible multi aggro which requires either knowing how the mobs work, smart pet play and knowing when to use what as TM only requires WM and staying your distance. Barrier Spikes can also effectively decrease your time in TM which can be used to ones advantage. SCC wins out on drops with Crocodile Claymores and Stiff round shields. TM only has Burgundy Bear, vicious and thin ES.
  
  SCC is more prone to game lag, monsters spawn after the previous one is killed, this only effects the boss in Their Method as all Zombies are spawned beforehand. Lag will kill you more in SCC as Zombies are stupid and have to be close to you to attack. TM allows you to watch TV, Movies, youtube without effecting your time/sm, SCC requires more attention.
  
  SCC will ask for a more high demand of Nao stones since dying will debless your equips and require you to rebless which will reduce final time. The mobs in SCC can be unforgiving and without high defense can rape.
  
  EDIT: Double Rainbow Event Doubles SM Reward EXP. Their Method gives 140k, Shadow Cast City gives 120k etc. SM Reward gold isn't doubled though.
