The boss in SCC also gives 35k experience. (without the 2x exp) Although monsters only spawn after you kill a set, the other set is pretty far away. Also, that pattern allows you not waste time having to run around finding those missing zombies you may have missed.

If you do enough SCC, you can just watch TV/youtube/whatever, and do it just fine. Most set of monsters is one aggro only. Only thing that dual aggros you are thing that involves archers. Not to mention, monsters in SCC are much easier to kill than zombies.

Generally, people run it around 10-15 minutes range. Stronger people (or people who go in as infinite DK) will get less than 10 minutes per run.
