Im getting really tired of F2P.
Lets try to steer away from something like W.O.W. I have been looking around and Fallen earth sounds pretty fantastic about now, but I just wanna hear about what else is there.

Aion.
It's fun if you have a godly comp and like to PvP. Otherwise, dundoit.

Both of whichI have neither of so I hated it. Guild Wars is a thought... try NCSoft... They're kinda good games I suppose.

There's also All Points Bulletin. Oh wait, that ended in failure and it got taken over by another company as a F2P game.

Guild Wars is nice. But if you need a team-based fix, Final Fantasy XI is still going strong with that.
There's also Dark Age of Camelot.

WoW isn't that bad but the community sucks. If I was to play again I'd want to find like 40 people to play with.
I'd go Aion. If you were willing to go old school Ultima Online(1996 man.)

~AGREES 1337%~
:P no really it will most likely take a HUGE chunk of the WoW fanbase... Most people move from new game to new game like i usually am (although i always come back to mabi, this however may change)
Guild wars 2 will be pay for initial game but F2P from thereon also theres talk on Arenanet's blog about micro purchases like a shop (but doesnt seem like there will be any game abusement items as they seem like a slow but VERY WELL put together company..) NCSOFT and Arenanet are companies i would trust ALLOT with... unlike a certain company we all dislike despise.... yet still play their content O_O lol
go figure anyways... looks good major changes are, graphics, animations, story many many years in the future, new races, Complete new gameplay system
from its usual and has also been used or is being used much like in Blade and soul the resurection system.
looks REALLY good and i think one of the first MMO's to include a good RANDOM EVENT* system (though please correct me if you know any other game that made something like this)

Guild Wars for good Storyline and good PvP.
Ultima Online for best PvE ever.
WoW is actually a great game, lots of people just jumping on a hate bandwagon without even trying it out which is pathetic. Community is bad, so is in a lot of games, that's what guilds are for, the game offers entertaining quest (if you actually read the conversations and logs) with good storylines, good lore, eye pleasing landscaping, and fun instanced dungeons.
At least try it out (and not the private servers, there's truly a huge difference).
DarkFall or Mortal Online for open unforgiving PvP (you know, PK kill can take absolutely all you were carrying and wearing).
EverQuest 2 (yes, it's "f2p" now, but it's better to just get the premium access), best dungeons, more than just DPS, Heal and Tank classes, there are more roles to fill, which makes party planning a lot better.
Eve Online if you are into space simulators, tons ass of freedom, great PvP.
Other games worth mentioning :
Age Of Conan
Warhammer Online
Wizard 101

I sure would be pissed if I spent... How much was it?... $60 just to buy the game and $10 every month after that.... I would be greatly displeased and probably rage throughout XD

Oh... hell no. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. Ultima Online back in the day was the BEST PVP ever. The game is balanced around PvP(All games should be...). I'm flabbergasted that I see someone say it's the best PvE. WoW takes that title, and I hate that game...(though to note, I haven't played UO in 8 years)

EA Ruined Ultima online a couple years ago. Completely unbalanced now.
