Lets hope they even give double rainbow during G13.
It would help me rank AM from 2-1 without wasting millions of MP100's.
Proof that new int formula is not that great, even at 600 int:
Current +damage formula:
2*((log(int))^3), which would add 42.88 damage.
If Ice Spear max is 300, then that mere 42.88 represents 14.29% MORE damage.
With the NEW int formula magic gets nerfed to 80% of the original damage, (you can check kr wiki and divide previous damage by current and you get the %) which in turns creates a NEW base damage of 240.
Now, 600 int would add 30% more damage: alright... 240*1.3 =312
Rank 1 Ice Magic Mastery adds +15% damage, so
312*1.15= 358.8 which represents 19.6% more of the original (300 damage)
156 AP for a grand total of +4.7% more damage, whichs is 14! damage 14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LETS NOT FORGET YOU NEED 600 INT
People complaining when they get something good?
Meh, thats the world I guess.
HOW CAN THAT BE GOOD.
Marginal benefit compared to marginal cost of INVESTING 150+ AP for 14 damage DOES NOT mean something good.
And do you even have 600 Int? If you don't then your damage will be BELOW the current one.
That's the world I guess.
You don't need to invest AP into Magic Ice Mastery. If you want 14 extra damage and also have 150+ AP to spend, that's your choice. All you need in order to obtain pre-G13 magic damage is around 600 intelligence. (The exception being Blaze, which was grossly overpowered)
Devcat balanced magic. You can't cough up 400 AP and suddenly find yourself offensively on-par with other high level mages.
G13 adds a ton of new mastery skills, placing an emphasis on specialization. Most importantly is the double skill training obtained through your class selection.
Someone in Mabinogi told me about some Bolt Fusion skill, where you could fuse the bolts by yourself without requiring 2 people with wands. True?

Course not, you need to know the spells beforehand
