Some say it's just a glitch and some say it is a rebalancing act because of all that buff in g13.

I dont think it would be that hard on basic-advanced stages, 30-50% HP isn't that much honestly, spamming Watercannon was efficient for me till Hardmode.
I think people would be dungeoning a bit more early on before they swing down SM, but i wouldn't know.

Instead of increasing monster stats, DevCat should improve the variety of mob AI and skill selection.
Seriously.
The vast majority of Mabinogi enemies are limited to a selection of Smash, Defense, Counterattack, Windmill, Icebolt, Firebolt and Lightning bolt. In addition to possibly buffing stats, why not add additional ranged skills to shadow archers when facing them in more difficult missions? Shadow Warriors should be able to use charge, etc.
Oh wait. That might actually make those missions more challenging versus simply requiring a higher total level :/

Hell to the no.
Shadow Monsters are already annoying enough with ping and double-aggro.
And it's always one melee aggroer, and 1 ranged. >.>
