Herro's Leather Long Bow, Artisan Upgrade, Over-Upgrade

  All in one! Yay. Anyway I'm gonna give you guys something to look foward to, Artisan Upgrade and Over-Upgrade! First off allow me to start by presenting you my Leather Long Bow:

  Isn't she a beauty anyway allow me to go down the list so noone gets confused
  
  First off it has a S to the end of the name because I Over-Upgraded it along the Blue Stone path (S Type). I'll explain what it does at the bottom. Also note that this LLB started as a store brought one.
  
  Note that the normal stats includes int his order:
  
  Attack
  Injury
  Critical
  Balance
  Durability
  Upgrade
  Gem Upgrade 1
  
  Now let's get to the gritty. First off is the Artisan Upgrade. I used it on my bow as it's final -normal- upgrade. They provide up to 4 stats of randomness (the stats they add is determined, but if or not you get all 4, and how much of each is random). Fort his bow the artisan upgrade added:
  
  +11 Dex
  +2 Hp
  +25 luck (!!)
  +2 Staminia
  
  Now to get down to the bottom. The Over-Upgrade Process on the Bow turned it into a S Type. S Types focus on min/max attack. For this bow the full S type upgrade is:
  
  +21 Max Attack
  +10 Min Attack
  
  Not to mention it emits a nice blue/green glow when held:

  Note that artisan upgrades are truly random. Last one i had on a LLB gave me 59 luck but no dex....
  
  And the last note, if you notice at top it'll state that it's a Herro-only weapon. Over-Upgrading a weapon will bind it to you like armor/cloth upgrades.

  I sure hope they improve egos. These upgrades sure make egos a lot less effective than before.

  What's the point of pouring millions of gold and months of feeding into a weapon that's hardly better than its quick-fix upgraded/enchanted counterpart?

  Is that supposed to be bad? I would be putting a mass celebration if it gets 59 luck instead of 59 dex.

  i think shira means, annoying to try and purposely get one with 59 luck. :V what with the randomness and all.

  However, it does make ego look like cheap alternatives now, since they are expecting players to spend on enchant/repair protection if they want to get something like this, which costs much more than ego repair potions in the long run.

  the true killer is type R Upgrade. Type R Upgrade adds 26% damage to my crit damage, and since I have r1 Crit its 150% + 26% = +176% Damage when critical~<3

  Actually you're completely correct. Artisan Upgrades are COMPLETELY random, thus you can end up with single digit stat adds. On the other hand you can downgrade that upgrade and try again with an Artisan Upgrade Restore Kit. That cost nx, so in order to get a great weapon without making multiples, you would need to spend tons of nx.

  Wow, this overupgrade thingy sounds like an ego killer. The spirit awakening skill you get from egos probably balances it out, but man I'm so happy I decided not to get an ego.

  I just finished experimenting with a kite shield, apparently the 4 possible stats are Defense, Protection, Will, and Staminia. Through I haven't gotten def or prot over +2 yet...so don't get your hopes up XD.
