I think you just pulled a reach around on urself man ._.
I have no idea what that means but I'm assuming it's similar to hanging yourself?
Edit: If it's something inappropriate then don't tell me here of all places.
And like I said before I don't really need life skills, I can rank ranged attack for dex, and the weapon masteries will help alot. As long as I'm strong enough to kill something in mabinogi I'm golden.

Yeah, since you're melee it seems, dex isn't as important to you.
Unless you want some more injury %. xD
And since masteries are coming, you won't need dex for balance as badly.
But I like some life skills so I can't fully relate.

I don't feel like that at all. Especially since I don't have a lot of time to play lately. The event helps me actually do something. If you prefer your suffering, just don't participate, or double your goals during the event.

I hope that Nexon NA kills the event (thus reducing weekend lag) and makes this event's effects pemanent.
Mabinogi is one massive grind. Right now I have to grind AP for Crash Shot, grind Weaving (alongside other brutal life skills) for dexterity, spam feed my spirit weapon, etc.
DevCat just lobbed that 1000AP potion into KRtest, so that nubs will have some way of catching up. The double rainbow events are a better alternative, imo.

I love the event itself, just not how it's been executed.
Week 1: "THIS IS THE BEST EVENT EVAR"
Week 2: "Blah, servers crashed last week. Glad we get the event again to make up for downtime."
Week 3: "Ok I like the event but they're seriously doing it again?"
They should have really spaced it out imo. Wanna bet they'll do it again next week?
@life skill discussion: Even if I wasn't an elf that needs dex for damage, I'd still do life skills for the break in grinding. It's not fun doing absolutely nothing but dungeons/sms over and over again.

I was sick of this event at week 2. Honestly, alls i got to say is that Dorren Request Hackers get like 400k a go(which is totally unfair to us ordinary players, and it proves that those hackers cant do other missions); aswell as the Skill lag, or monster lag that happens. Monsters AI dies, or Speeds up, and skill loading becomes around 1.5 -2x slower whenever the server feels like it wants to die from overeating. Those two things bug me.

Personally, I think double rainbow event is for players to catch up. The generation updates were fast.
I mean who runs peaca int other than the few elites of the server?

I could care less about the AP gained about the event. I barely even use the AP on anything. I don't go bother to level myself to 100 for 200 AP or whatever.
However, the double prof is where I make the use out of. When you reduce stuff like Blacksmithing by 2 or 4, it is quite amazing, and makes stuff like Blacksmithing barely rankable sometimes, which also saves millions and hours of work.

It reduces my required materials for life skills. No complains here. Got over 500 AP stored away with no real plans for it.

I love it... so I don't have the same feelings as you.

Its an amazing event but they made it happen to often.

lol, made to make players catch up? How many new players are there, that you know, who can get to 100 in a day or two? This doesn't really do anything but widen the gap. :<
This event is making me life skill like a madman. While I can appreciate the money it'll save me in the long run, it's also soooooo tedious :<

Saves me time which I like.
I guess because I started a new char it's good to get things as high as possible so I can continue to rank the more useful skills.

I think its an amazing event, it makes ppl who don't have enough money in real life to afford nx weekly enjoy the game a little bit more.

I personally like it. The skill training 2x finally got me R1 WM, at least.
