New idea that I thought well feeding my Ego. Basically how much do you feed your ego? What do you feed your ego? How do you feed your ego?
I just go into ch 4 Dunb and buy all the Star sapphires and Aquamarines then feed them all to my ego when she's hungry.

Inventory full just after cleaning out ch 4. Then to get her hungry I just raft/hot air balloon which helps me get the money back from what I lose in giving her all these somewhat expensive gems.

Well, I neglected my ego there for a while, because I didn't have a stable gold income to support his eating habits.
Before, I would buy just about any gem at around 3k/cm and just afk in Dunbarton until he got hungry. I did that up until social 16 when I got tired of him and just left him be. Here recently I've been feeding him the fails/things I don't bother selling from gacha, which has gotten him up to social 18. Eventually, I'll start avidly feeding him again, but I don't have the time or money to do it right now.

I feed him random stuff I find that I'm not going to sell. Sometimes, I'll feed him things I got from events too, but for the most part, I don't actively feed.
I did feed him more when I was doing refine, so maybe when I start on Metal Conversion. XD

I'm pretty much married to my ego lol
Although I don't really feed any expensive items or gems as I found it's slower feeding
Most of the time if I'm not busy in game I'll just park my character next to the npc that sells
what food I need. Once it's given me the message that it wants to chat/ect twice I'll feed it back to fine. Repeat.
=] I like feeding in Filia the most since it offers discounts on items.

I just feed mine gems from metallurgy xD
Normally that is.
If I get random items I don't want and can't/don't wanna sell then I feed her them.
But mostly gems since I spend a lot of time goofing off at the beach and converting stuff.

I just feed my ego nothing but the standard around 900 gold items from NPC. I know a few people who do nothing but diamonds though. That is really spoiling their ego...

My ego gets either junk I find or the standard NPC items.
It'll get gems once I start doing metallurgy though.

Expensive items over 40k are faster than the conventional 900g items. And discounts on items doesn't necessarily mean faster feeding. Elen's items (Bangor) are cheaper than Ferghus' items but Ferghus' items actually give a few more points stats wise.
And depending on the gem, 5 cm+ gems tend to be faster than feeding in that respective category, only exception being diamonds. Diamonds are effective any size pretty much after 1.5 cm lol.
As for my ego, I feed it the craps (200k+ NPC Value) I make from tailoring since no one buys it anyway. ._. Diamonds are always nice. :P

I feed my ego everything I don't want that I know I probably can't sell. That includes a handful of Tioz Armor.

The ego feeding in filia works like the wend. discount, don't confuse it with other cities where the base price is different. Feeding at filia with an allied character gives you a discount on the price, but keeps the base value the same. Saves me money.
Also some people have stated before, not sure if its been proven, that feeding expensive items will carry over to your next feeding and affect the egos appetite.
Personally I don't have the money to feed 40k+ items, so feeding one 40k+ then..not being able to feed another expensive would mess up my next feeding with cheap items, if what people have been stating is correct.
