Hello everyone. Now as a few may know from some of my posts, I'm an avid wine maker. However, I'm still only good enough to make average wine. I do it ALL the time though, and since I made my Battle Swords a long time ago, I no longer really do Protect Corrib Valley, and do The Smell Of Wine now. I finally found the Handicraft Kit I wanted, but I still do the mission often. 125k for end exp on Hardmode, and the easyness of it (did I spell easyness right?) make me consider it one of the best SM's for exp. What I would like to know is a couple of things:
Do you wine make?
How often do you wine make?
Are you good at it and what quality do you make?
Do you think winemaking is worth it?
Which of the missions do you do?

No, lol, it's easiness.
I've never done that mission because it seems rather complicated to make wine and only get two chances of going in. It would be worth it if it didn't require the pass thing.

Tch, I figured I spelt it wrong. Oh, and you don't have two chances to go in. If you make average wine, you can get 2 passes, good wine is 4 and the best kind is 6 passes.....I have YET to ever go beyond average!!!! >.>

I've been making wine ever since I found out how much exp it gives. Though I usually just let the passes stack up and spam them all when I rb (after restoring fossils, lol). I have made good wine a few times, though it usually ends up being average most of the time. And HOLY CRAP 6 TICKETS FOR BEST WINE!!! *goes of to practice wine mini game to get lots of tickets* It's too bad though that you can't just trade to tickets to someone else. But then that would be so broken, all the good players would be hitting level 70 within a couple days, lol.

Alot of people use backdoor programs for wine, aswell as fashion and fossil.

Even so, the experience gained from the mission (smell of wine) alone more than makes up for it, especially if you let them stack and spam them all at once (requires a lot of extra space to take full advantage of). I mean, we're talking about a minimum of 750K experience if you do it 3 times per rb on hardmode, 450K on advanced which is pretty good considering that it can easily take you all the way to level 35 (32 if your doing advanced) within a couple hours. It might not sound all that great, but it normally take a few days of spamming sm's to get the same result.
The only other sm's that give that much experience are the tara rath castle sm's, but it's hard to find a decent party to spam with, so I usually find myself spamming other sm's in the mean time.

Ive seen those missions. I wanted to try them but I never got around to making wine. Seemed like a waste of time IMO. Getting the tickets though might have changed my mind.

Someone teach me how to do wine making.
and tell me the stats of wine that I at least need to win 2 tickets.

All your stats need to be on average over 65% (I think) to get the 2 tickets. I think getting all your stats above 75% can get net you more tickets, but I'm not 100% sure since I've only done it successfully like maybe 3-4 times legit, no cheats. You may want to play with the mini game a few times and find a comfortable middle ground between how much of each stat you'll lose since the mini game itself is the hardest part of wine making. If you practice it enough though, you'll eventually get use to it and get good wine all the time. Just a couple warnings for people interesting in wine making:
- The process for wine making leaves very little wiggle room for screw ups. If you do mess up badly, your wine is going to suck and you won't get rewarded for your efforts.
- You'll want to start the process on Wednesday during a time when you know you can get access to your computer everyday. The best time to change to your wine barrel is between 23-24 hours since the last change, and it takes about 5-6 days for the wine to fully mature, so allocate a time in the day to be your wine changing time.
- If you can't start the process on Wednesday for whatever reason, make sure the time you choose to replace your wine barrel does not coincide with Nexon's weekly scheduled maintenance. Otherwise, your going to get screwed when you can't access your wine barrel during the maintainance.

Well, I've made average wine literally all the time, and whenever I finish one wine, I start another immediately, or the next day around the same time. You mostly just need very high freshness (90+ range), high acidity (again 90+ range) and the purity can be as low as 60. I've had all of that and 42 age and it was average. I mostly let my wine age for 3 days, as each day, it'll be 14 each time. You'll want to play on the fastest setting, so do the tutorial often to practice. The fastest setting is best, but you can just try the next fastest, just to get used too it. Also, the upgrade coupons appear often. It took me probably 20+ Smell of Wine missions to find the Handicraft Kit, with Frenzy enchanted on it, which is also the Berserk enchant for axes. +10 max, +10 crit and -20 dex when level 30+. That enchant alone makes Hatchets as epic as warhammers. The coupons aren't just for that though, Marketplace Modification Coupon is for Peaca Int weapons, such as Highlander Claymore, Francisca, and Highlander Long Bow and the Falcata, along with Claymores, B@stard swords and Hatchet. The other one comes from Protect Corrib Valley, which would give The Royal Castle Guard Weapon Upgrade Coupon (Long name huh?), which is for Battle Swords, Bipennis and Battle Short Swords. Also, if anyone needs any marketplace coupons, you can buy them off me, I seriously have TOO many!!!!!! One more thing, I'm actually unsure now if you can get 6 passes for the best wine, as I read that a long time ago on the wiki, and it's been changed, to 4 if the % is exceptionally high. I just wish I was better at it so I could get more passes x_x

Hmm, I didn't think that would actually work, lol. I might try doing that then since it seems to give double the coupons per week. I mean, at best, if I do get a good wine, then I only get one extra coupon and 4 coupons from 2 ok wines beats 2-3 coupons from 1 good wine. I think I might try experimenting later and see what works best.

Not a lot of people want the coupons, unless someone just happened to be upgrading those paths. (Seriously, why not? These coupons unlock these weapons' true potential, making them on par or better than the average player's weapons)
I haven't done wine-making in a while, particularly because it's really punishing if you screw up in the minigame and if you forget to change the barrel on time.

Who are you telling. To be honest, I think I'm the only person on Ruari who actually has upgraded Battle Swords with the coupons. I've often had people go HOLY **** or Fing sweet battle swords, and HOW DID YOU MAKE THEM LIKE THAT?! Right now, I'm just waiting for a conversation where someone asks what's the best sword, and one person goes broads, and then I show my Battle Swords to them. I have forgotten to check my wine also, don't worry. One time, I forgot it over night, and it was a school night, so I logged on in the morning just to change it. My guild leader forgot one time when he used too do it. I still remember seeing him realize it and start running from Taillteann saying," MY WIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!"

I had asked Milk at first, cause he was interested in it. He helped me get the coupons for my Battle Swords. The only mission we'd be able to do together is just Protect Corrib Valley, which apparently, the wiki listed rewards don't show anything THAT useful, aside from the spike enchanted Battle Swords/B@stard Swords. The Smell of Wine is a much better mission imo, and heck, if you were to get into winemaking Diety, you could reap the benefits of mission yourself. It's not hard at all too me, I die from a mistake and that's it. That Crag Cow might take awhile for you to kill, unless you use your Thunder; 10k hp, and you don't have poison.
