but yea, teleporting bosses was annoying. so was shots blending with backround.
Well the teleporting I can fix later...I would just have to put in a longer setup for each spell where I have the boss move to a specific location w/o teleporting and start the spell once they reached that location but even in the extra stage I didn't quite perfect that as the timing between the 3 of them wasn't perfect...but If I make another variable...yes...yes...that could perfect it...
I'll work on that later today perhaps.
Interesting idea about the sfx and music option...ya...that would be better as most of the time you don't have time to change that while you are dodging danmaku...I'll tweak that as I'm tweaking the "teleporting" thing.
Okay the teleportation thing is going to take me some time so...I am going to do another "patch" of this game and coin it v1.9. This patch will take into account most of your guys suggestions. I'm not going to implement every suggestion but the ones I feel are the best suggestions I will implement. Thanks so much for the feedback and reports everyone!
Here is what I will be adding in v1.9 (Going to try to have it released by 12/12/10)
1) Bosses will no longer teleport around between spellcards but will move to their starting point for the spell
2) Stewart's Lightning Spell will have a visual helper to show you where Stewart will teleport to.
3) Breaking of King's Firewand and Breaking of the Danmaku will not have the Boss teleport randomly but will have them move to the next spot that they will fire from
4) The hitbox will appear much smaller to give a better representation of what the "true" hitbox is.
5) Enemy markers will show up at the bottom to show you where the enemy is
6) Enemy sprite will be larger to land more hits
7) Your shots will be less spread out so that you land more shots (Kingofrunes focused and unfocused will have less spread, Kitty's unfocused will have less spread, Benier's unfocused will have less spread)
8) Music and Sfx sound options will be moved to the pause screen only for better convience
9) A bug where it won't clear or game over when you restart will be fixed.
