For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, here is a link to the video that demonstrates this technique: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONV_781uiAY
As you can see, you open with a magnum shot at point-blank range. Then, you run up to the target and fire again at point-blank.
I have been attempting to use this technique, but I can only seem to get about 80%-90% aim on my second magnum shot before the target recovers. I have R1 range and R5 magnum, so skill ranks are not the issue. I have also been using a LLB because it has a longer stun and faster aim speed (and yes, I am an elf).
Is this technique intended to allow you to aim to 99% for each shot?
Is my lag (I live on the east coast) the problem?
I have also been considering getting R9 evade to close the distance and link the opening magnum shot and the second magnum shot.
If anyone has experience with this technique, please tell me why I can't seem to perform it. I thank you in advance for any advice given.
