I was curious as to how frequently Thunder pages drop, specifically Chapter 4 from Rabbie Solo runs and also Chapter 2 from Lightning Sprites from either Coill or Ceo Island. For those that took the time to spam both Rabbie and Coill, how many times did you have to do it for a Thunder page to drop? I know that I could just buy them from the house board (assuming the right pages are available). Though the prices I have observed would virtually swallow my gold reserve. Having the Thunder skill would really help me out, but I am not that desperate to kill my bank account.

I think your a loser if you buy pages. Makes you look like a lazy fat-@**. Anyway chapter four was HELL they say you get better chances if you kill red succubus but I got it using black one. About 30-40 runs for me. I don't remember what it took for coill but I think its somewhat easy.

I hope I left the impression that buying the necessary pages would be a matter of last resort. I fully intend to earn them the proper way. Still 30-40 trips through Rabbie........:gloom:

Yea you did, I was just saying that. It was more of a compliment than anything else. Of course I have a habit of being very unlucky. I swear this games out to get me. :gloom:

With a luck muffin I got page four on my second try. I used it just before the red succubus, didn't get it. I ran through a second time and the page dropped. The muffin was still active. I got a second page for a friend using the same method but the page dropped 3 tries. I had to use two muffins for this one. My normal luck is 17. Sometimes you can find muffins pretty cheap. I just had mine leftover from the mystery box.

Well calling someone a loser for buying pages is silly. What if they decided they could level in ciar adv instead and made money off those runs then just bought the page? There is nothign wrong with buying a page. The only time I might agree is if your buying gold to get all your book skills.
To OP: Took my 35 runs before I gave up and bought my page back when I was level 140. The funny thing is I got it a couple runs later when I wasn't really looking for it. Was just farming scrolls. Sold that page and came out even.

I disagree with this statement, since not everyone that buys pages is lazy. Some are just luckier than others. Besides, unless someone buys the gold, didn't it take work to earn their gold in the first place? :/

if you can't afford to buy thunder, how can you afford to maintain the wands+mp for thunder?

I pretty much agree with this.
But anyway, I get one TH4 page every 15 or so runs.

I stand by this.
I haven't gotten a TH4 in 40ish Rabbie Regular solo ago. TH2 drops whenever I don't look for it from Flying Swords.

This is true, but not if you got a large mana pool and only use it for rafting :D

It seems you get pages when you're not looking for it.
I did Rabbie ADV 20+ times and didn't get an IS2, but when I was taking a guildy to level up in Shadow Commander I, BAM! IS2 drops from a Pink Grumbill.
I raged.

It's like the Mirror of Erised man.
Things like this happen everyday in real life. Say you're in a hurry and you really need a cab, but there are none. The moment you take the bus one passes by. >>
Also, buying the page might be better than grinding Rabbie (unless you like it), 'cause the page is worth 100k which you can easily make running SM's or trading. Might save you time.

Buying the pages is worth not wasting my time spamming something.
But I agree with the person who said "If you can't afford the pages, how can you afford the upkeep?"

Well when your a nubcakes you might only be using thunder to play with friends. They cant afford it but want the skill anyways.
