Quote from Yogurticecream;249477:
Some people lack the control to. They have a computer-game addiction to deal with here. Which is something most people will not like to admit. And I don't think calling someone a computer-game addict will solve any problems.
What they need to do is to set some time for themselves to think why Mabinogi should be less important and other things more important.
Still looks to me like they haven't made up their mind. If they did, and knew they couldn't control themselves enough to quit normally, then a random password change would fix it.

See the way I see it is...its just ITEMS. Most of the items you get you can always get back in some kind of way. What matters most is your character the most. I know most players over 2k can do a Adv Shadow Mission naked and with a stick. Its all about the skill, not what you wear. Thats the way I've always seen it.
As well yes even I spent tons and tons of money on Mabinogi. Do I care I spent so much? Somewhat. That money could've gone to my computer and improving it, but I decided to use it on Mabi. Do I really care about my items? Once again...or for the first time saying it? No I don't.
As well mainly I won't uninstall it, reasons. Because my friends are still on it. I've been playing Mabinogi since G2...? I don't remember...but thats why I refuse to uninstall. I've already lasted 3 weeks without Mabi and I'll continue on~~ Addiction? Losing it! Finally...and yes I did admit I had an addiction.

Honestly...I don't see how people that are playing for that long can just quit.....just personally I don't think giving away your stuff is the best idea cause when it comes down to it, if do you that and then decide to come back, or are just messing around and want them back, then you now have a new purpose to playing and will end up back on the band wagon >>;

Quitting is one thing, but you will always return. It doesn't mean you're necessary addicted but one day you will pick up your account again. With that being said the best thing for you to do is NOT destroy and/or give up anything. Lay the account down, play something else, enjoy yourself.

I love playing Mabinogi. It's hard to stop something you like to do. It's not a disorder or a problem. It's like someone telling you to stop eating meat when you absolutely love meat. It's hard.
First step is definitely to uninstall the game though.

I highly doubt I'll get addicted to it again. When I was nearing this phase of quitting I got on Mabi for maybe less than 30 minutes. Then to 20 then less. Not to mention when you're getting into a new game. Like they say...to kill an addiction you need ANOTHER Addiction....(so I think...)

Only way to truely quit is to rank blacksmith to 1 and have nothing left to do.

Go rb into age 10.
once you hit a high level, you won't feel like leveling, thus not wanting to play.
