yeah, I agree.
Generation quests in mabi have much more content than what's been shown in vindictus up to now. I haven't really seen anything intriguing story-wise from vindictus. Give yourself like 2 weeks of playing or so, and you can probably get through the whole story that's out so far without spending a dime.
I think it's safe to say it's more dungeon hack n' slash, which can be a nice fun break from mabi.

You'll want to invest 10k nx for one storage expansion. Rest is optional.

I don't think the storage is necessary, though it is nice.
Mainly, because most of the items/materials are worthless now, except for a few drops like ice crystals and gold ores... and green spider shells lol. So, you could technically just npc most of the items when you run out of space.

D:! Don't NPC the items, because every single time you do that.. You end up needing it to craft. ._.; And then you have to borrow it from your friend (lol, he knows who he is!).
But yeah, I don't really run out of tokens. Sure, running infinite dungeons would be nice.. But then I'd be at cap AP by now and really really bored. It's nice to have a game that I can play and just relax, without having to worry about keeping up with others. :( But the storyline, we need more of that. And more cutscenes.

Don't NPC things because one day that dinky item that's only worth 500 gold suddenly becomes worth 30,000 and you kick yourself thinking about all the ones you sold to the NPC

Look at the quest and crafting requirements for all future content.
Keep THOSE as they will spike up in price for about a week after its release.

Yea, but there's also the ones that aren't vital to future content. Sometimes the items just spike for whatever reason. For instance, the other day there was suddenly a tiny supply of Upgraded Slingshots, which caused the price to shoot to 30k.

And don't forget what happened last time with the Blood Silk. ._.; They changed the requirements, so all those little items we sold thinking they were useless.. D: Suddenly needed to be farmed again.

Shush you! :( I didn't have to farm either! I woke up early enough that I just bought them for cheap. *coughs* Yay for nerdiness.
Oh and, wth. You could have just said that on MSN! D: *mutters and goes to nudge him there*

I needed battle maces and I had just sold mine for like, 4k each. A few hours later they were 19k ._.
It made me cry. No, really. No not really.

The story is just as in-depth as Mabinogi's.
The difference is that there is no overworld in Vindictus, and NPCs have photodermatis, and cannot move around outside their houses.
Meaning there are only two places the storyline can be implemented, in dungeons, and in buildings. (There are actually three places, with the third being within cut scenes, but Vindi sorely lacks them. Up to boat 4 now and we have only seen one.) Dungeons during the storyline are exactly the same as dungeons not during the storyline, except that your comrades are fighting battles in the next map over.
Meaning the only real place you get storyline is through [s]dia[/s]monologue from NPCs. Thus causing the implementation of story to be sorely lacking.
Which is really disappointing because Vindi has so much awesome potential for using storyline sequences, using a mix of cinematics and special storyline dungeons (Exactly the same way the prologue worked).
Remember the Battle at Foebellow Prairie? Imagine if you had to actually fight in the battle that was being waged at the entrance of the ruins before you were allowed to slip past and sneak into the lair of Black Scar. If devCAT did shiz like this, there would be no contest as to the best game of the year.

QFT.
Look at Mabinogi's new generations. I'm disappointed I quit. If that was implemented in Vindictus, + Vindictus's graphics...
DevCAT has proven it can do better. The sad thing is, it's not doing it. The prologue got me really excited, but after that...*sigh*
Some nice things would be mixing the combat with non-combat stuff. I don't mean annoying stuff like Ideals, but role-playing (especially as Morrighan) wasn't bad. I haven't done the g13 storyline, but from reading the walkthrough "acting" looked fun.
