IMO, someone who you just recently started seeing: 6 months ~ 1 year.
But if you've known that person for awhile now and you're pretty close, 3 months ~ 6 months.
It's always good to wait some time. You don't wanna come off as a slut or give your all from the very start of a relationship.

You're ready when the pizza delivery guy or the plumber asks if he can "join you".

^ If that were true, say goodbye to the human race unless we make babies in test tubes from now on.

Nonetheless, it's still good to wait instead of being used and thrown away. :(

Um.. I'd say at least a few months. Honestly, it really boils down until your ready.
Hell, for me though I want to be married before then. Hence why I'm still a virgin and I've been dating my boyfriend for 2 years. He doesn't mind though, he wants to wait too because of the whole him leaving in a few months for the army.

Sex is suppose to show your love for one another, to be passionate and not all "OH **** ME **** ME"
In other words I think you should feel in love with one another, not oh I just met you I think I love you.
But more into the I've known you for a long time and I feel emotionally attached and in love.
It shouldn't be rushed and it shouldn't be done until both people are ready, and honestly sex doesn't feel THAT good for people to just sleep around.

lolololol
I love you so much. I guess a lot of people are very curious about it, that's why they go crazy about it.

Yes but is that worth the regret from not waiting later while in a decent relationship? ):
And it's true it feels good while its going on and then BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE and you have this great feeling for a few seconds - minutes
and normally while in a relationship that's when the cuddling and stuff goes on but when you're just sleeping around it's "Oh I guess we're done, I'll just uhhh get my stuff and be going then." which has no value what-so-ever.

Until the person I'm dating is ready. I've yet to ask someone I've dated to have sex.
Quote from Chockeh;259705:
Until your both ready.
Could take one night, could be until marriage.
Quote from Pride;259725:
For me it's one night. Most likely for the girl, awhile more. If it's another guy, usually one night.
Haha pretty much this.
Edit: after reading most posts I realized you guys are against having sex with someone you just met.
But, how do you know what you'd feel in that situation? It doesn't mean having sex with just everybody is right, it's just that maybe for that one person it'd be different so why discard the possibility?

Cuddling + kissing > sex, IMO.
I'm a fool for the cute stuff. :blood:
