Has anyone actually gotten a decent Wave Sweeper?

  It's only 300 extra damage if the javalin increased your attack power, not you strength so it only increases your damage by about 120 (which is still pretty good considering). I do kinda see your point, but it hardly makes an impact at lower ranks (30+ damage with smash as opposed to 120+) which is the issue that's being discussed. After all, if you could easily get an S rank relic, then more ppl would be running around with one, but I've yet to see a single person carrying one around. I'm not saying that it's ABSOLUTELY useless, but it's not something to get excited about either.
  
  That being said, why do people try to get the wave sweeper relic? I understand that it makes your running speed faster, but I don't see to many applications where having a higher running speed would help you in battle (unless you were running away, LOL).

  120 regular smash/magnum damage is 300 critical damage, though, and it could be the difference between a 4700 magnum and hitting 5k.
  
  I do agree the lower ranked treasures aren't as noticeable, but if you have really strong melee/range it's worth the boost... I mean, we do spend millions on pieces of equipment that would equate to that much max damage (I myself have two accessories that add up to 60 dex when I wear them).
  
  As for wave sweeper... Well, let's just say you would be able to cross the distance faster in order to magnum -> magnum as an elf, or position yourself for Blazing that much faster. There's also other tactical advantages, such as better mobility and therefore safety while walking (defense or crash shot with a bow) and just being able to save extra summon time on your Thoroughbreds by being a little faster yourself.

  At least you see my point. Haha, sorry if I came across as a jerk. I guess I'm still just hung up on the really low probability of getting a decent ranked relic. Then again, I am probably still pissed of that I haven't gotten a single lava cat robe from Belita after turning in over 2K mostly restored fossils.

  You didn't come across as anything bad, lol, it's normal for most people not to bother with such situational damage boosts... specially when there's so much luck and frustration involved.

  I agree that lower level ones are barely noticeable. Even if it is one that increase damage, you need a high base attack before even the low ones is noticeable, however about wave sweepers...
  
  They can close the gap pretty well. Some monsters I couldn't smash - > smash I was able too thanks to their AI. It's the same reason that when using a golem, their run speed helps close gaps easily (besides their size), especially when it goes from fighting a monster then reaching a monster that is charging a spell.

  I can understand the frustration associated with trying to get a working artifact, let alone a decent one, but its inherent difficulty has nothing to do with its usefulness. Saying it's worthless because it doesn't fall into your lap says more about the person ranting than it does about the value of the artifacts or the worth of the effort involved in obtaining them.
  
  I perceived these things as endgame items. Let's say you're done with a generation and have tons of time and/or money to burn, but not many more skills if any to learn/rank, and you're done with building your gear sets for battle/fashion. You're not looking so much for a huge power boost as you are looking for further touches to polish your character. These aren't so much four sources of considerable boosts to power as they are four more customizable sources of convenience for your character.
  
  To that end, a wave sweeper of any kind is useful. I wouldn't throw out a rank C sweeper if it fell into my lap, and if I found one of equal or lower value after that I would simply sell it or give it to a good friend. My main is human; movement speed is not my strength, but if I can move just that tiny bit faster at no penalty whatsoever it's worth it. So, I find myself a rank C sweeper. Maybe sometime later in some rare miracle I find a rank B. Then a Rank A. Then a rank S. If I stumbled upon one of the others and I could get some use out of it, or even no use whatsoever, I'd still equip it just as a filler piece unless I knew of someone to sell/give it to. As it stands, you're thinking in terms of absolutes regarding G12, like it HAS to reap benefits this generation or that it's only going to be here for this generation. But keep in mind this source of customization will be here from here on out as more generations come in. It will always be here. So, unless you see yourself quitting Mabi sometime soon, it will always be here as something to kill time working on, and, occasionally, as something rewarding to kill time working on. *shrugs*
