UNDERWATER BASES ARE SO FUN!
The one I'm doing currently has kind of transcended underwater because the entrance has hit bedrock. I think I'm going to start over too because it looks really gimmicky.

Can I be added to the list as purchased? :D
Also...does anyone have a newb friendly way to create a mob farmer (yeah, heard about these)? My first base is on a hill, and there is a Cobblestone mine near me xD (well...I am turning it into one) There is also, waht I think is, a dungeon nearby. I haven't explored it yet, currently holed up in my base again...spider on the roof and a skeleton outside my door (had to barricade the door cause arrows were being shot through it D:).

Place torches all around your little base to prevent monsters from getting too close. You might want to make some fences as well to create a boundary so creepy-crawlies can't come in. Do note that arrows can go through fences. Use a door to block the entryway through your fence gates. You can make it with sticks. As for dungeons, you can find one by looking for cobblestone/Mossy tiles. Basically, raid the dungeon by placing torches all around the mob spawner so it can't spawn mobs at all, raid the dungeon, then proceed to use glass tiles to block the entrance(so you can see!) and leave an opening that you can attack through. Remove the torches, and then attack the mobs that spawn around it and are attracted to you.

1) Listen to the ambience. Hearing monsters underground while in a cavern will either mean there's a place that's totally dark or there's a dungeon nearby. It's more obvious if it's a dungeon if you hear multiple of the same creature.
2) Repeatedly toggle fog when you believe you're near a dungeon (F Key). For a split second, you will see only the lights from flames, which means you will see nearby torches, lava, and the mob spawner (Since it has flames inside it).

And watch out for creepers. Oho.
I wish they burned up during the day, or became neutral during the day, like Spiders do.
I was chopping a tree today, and as I removed the last block of wood, a Creeper fell through the hole from the top of the tree.
IT WAS ON THE FREAKING TREE.
GASKLJDKFJHSRPOIUHTWPOEFSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSBOOM!
Scared the living bajeezus out of me.

I wish someone would come up with a left4dead mod for minecraft where you could play as creepers.

Maybe do it like zombie survival in garrys mod.
They wouldn't be unlocked until the final round or something.

I played my first minecraft multiplayer game. xD
My Mabi guild leader walked me through the server-creating process with Hamachi.
Walked me through with baby steps, lol.
I was so clueless.
Sure was fun, though.
First time seeing Lapis Lazuli, too.
Too many Creepers :[
I'm so afraid of the monster sounds. xD
And I can't seem to hit enemies without them also hitting me. xD
But it was fun.
Peaceful mode didn't work, though. :p
Control monster spawns via the server.properties file.
Quick Guide for the first day.
You have 10 minutes during the day, and 1.5 minutes of sunset before complete darkness.
1. Get wood.
2. Make a workbench.
3. Make a Pickaxe.
4. Get stone.
5. Make Furnace.
6. Put wood into Furnace. (Logs for Charcoal, sticks for burning.)
7. Steal some dirt to make a makeshift house.
8. Don't die.
9. Make Torches. (With charcoal +sticks)
10. Continue on, teching up.
