Yea, it's reliable and easy. Just some games don't work perfectly for some, such as a few of the Castlevania games (PoR) and I'm sure Pokemon Plat (NA) or will constantly freeze every now and then. But most games I've played work fine.
Just be happy it isn't as complex as modding a PSP.
Actually those are caused by SD cards.
Castlevania:PoR will be laggy in some SD cards.
Kensington and Sandisk are flawless though.

Yea I know about that, but I've tested C:PoR with a SanDisk and a Kingston (both 2GB's i believe), both kept freezing through out the game, so i basically said "f**k this" and just cheated with max/infinite everything. Never really had any issues with other games other than that.

Did you try the Europe version of PoR? I find that the ROM for it runs better than the other language versions. And don't keep a secondary character out while you save or warp, because that can definitely lead to crashes.

Nah I rarely bother to try non-NA/USA games, only one I can even remember off the top of my head I've ever tried was Taiko Drum Master and Jump Ultimate Stars (though english patched).

Sigh...
If flash carts are rare/unreliable, am I better off buying the actually rune factory game?
...
Why aren't DS games as easy to pirate as PSP games. >_>
You can always play the ROM on a DS emulator on the PC.
Granted, not the same as playing the DS itself. But you don't have to worry about being scammed while buying the flashcart.

I tried running PSX game before (chrono cross) and that didn't work out well...
Wonder if my laptop can run DS games.

This works
Used it for 1 solid year
Beware if you want to use it as a mp3 player you gotta go download moonshell
Fyi The issue with R4 is the team is now dead
Dead team = no firmware = no new games

Why?
Solves the R4's no new firmware problem. Unless we're talking about the M3.
Oh, and a TTDS is more crappy than the R4, in terms of both speed and updates.

Get a Cyclods. Amazing flashcart i have been using. Don't buy an r4 because most of them are bad clones. go to the official M3 (another good flashcart) website and go to the trusted sellers link. All those sites should be okay.
