when you use range all day, you start get used to sog. Probably it's that

Disable Nagle, it's in the guides section.
As for others firing faster than you, they're:
1. Shooting from a closer distance... if you're an elf, make sure you're always right on top of the enemy and not actually using long ranged skills at long ranges.
2. They're shooting at lower aim %, since range is so spammable you can afford to do this.
3. They have better latency and/or live closer to the server.
Any other explanation is most likely placebo, including any "fixes" or mods that anyone might suggest.

this is kinda true, already had people ask me if i was using AR when it was only regular r1 range. Though after i got AR, way faster than range, dunno how they couldn't tell the difference
edit: fixed
@china, sog is when you shoot with the minimum aim % possible and still manage to hit

There's also your connection/ping/internet provider at play as well as your computer specs... I think you also might need to restart your computer for Nagle to work if you disabled it correctly, but I might be wrong.

btw i don't play as elf for a LONG while but does the load range then take a step for aim to get to 50% instantly still works?

I did restart but still no difference, for internet speed it says 72.0 Mbs... whus dat?

If you mean aiming while running, yeah... it's not quite instant, but by the time you load range and run a step or two (depending on how far the target is), aim is already capped at 50%.

yep, then if you stop it will start charging after that 50%. I used to do that when i started as elf and it kinda worked
I still do it on my human just off habit, kinda silly since it doesn't work for humans but still xD

Bow range also affects aiming speed.
Also, they could be just letting go of the arrow earlier at like ~80%, ~70% (I've seen some Elves that like to let go at 50-60% in PvE at long ranges).
Or they could just be you-know-what.

They could also be using mods to cut off the elf-range lag or whatever.
More than likely, they are probably just using fast/normal speed bows, and have better lag than you.
