If I can't tweak my character's breasts in Mabinogi 2, I'm blatantly stating:
I WON'T BE PLAYING. :D
Hell yeah, eye candy.
On the other hand, lolis everywhere.

Mabinogi 1 + hack and slash combat system = (Vindictus?)Mabinogi 2 -> HECK NO!! -.-
Mabinogi 1 + Vindictus Graphics Engine = New Mabinogi 2 -> MAYBE?
Mabinogi 1 + Character Migration + Vindictus Graphics Engine = Mabinogi 2 -> FREAKING YES!

Everyone in Mabinogi2 will be stuffing themselves with bread!!
------
Anyways, we really don't have much information to go by, for all we know mabinogi 2 could be just like vindictus, completely different game, with completely different game-play, but in the same world.
The storyline could be many years into the future as well, so far into the future that the stories don't exactly match up, like comparing Megaman X to Megaman Legends.

If they do, I will be an angry panda. lol.
For some reason (perhaps an obvious reason..) Nexon doesn't seem like the type to waste all that time transferring characters, items, etc. And it might prove to be difficult depending on how different Mabinogi 2 is from the original.
I know I probably wouldn't like it much if it's Vindictus-y.. we have Vindictus for that, after-all. -facepalm-

I'm not sure how I'd feel either way. I'd really miss my characters, but a whole new game sounds exciting. Especially if we were able to start with or soon after Korea. I'm tired of everybody knowing what's coming already; saving AP for this or that skill. I'd like this stuff to actually be a surprise to everybody.

What would be the point of spending a lot of money in a new engine/graphics just to transfer old/developed characters that have already been milked? Mabinogi is
cow right now, soon to become a dog.

There is a MapleStory 2 also in the works.
http://news.mmosite.com/content/2009-12-07/20091207013103258,2.shtml
It seems pretty obvious to me that Mabinogi & MapleStory 2 are just updates to the previous games. Also, I'm pretty sure that they'll allow people to transfer their characters over. Without one single doubt.
All that money have spent on MapleStory, only to have the company move onto MapleStory 2 and neglect all that previous money and effort by making everyone start over? That'd be plain ridiculous.

I dunno...
Wouldn't it be strange for Mabinogi II to have a total level 7000 running around in Open Beta?
They could, for example, give allocated AP like every 10 totals you have is one ap in Open Beta.

Ah man my iPod screwed up and I don't know what happened to my post
Keeps on tapping the done button somehow
Anyways we don't know it's combat system atm so can't be sure (additional physics MIGHT affect what they do)
So at least the pets, characters, gold, items etc should have some transfer option
And I didn't know they're using a different engine
And "copying" things from old mabi is possible, they'll probably have to change some things and edit the appearances of things to make it work in Mabinogi 2 (talking about character model/skins)

If I can't make my chest smaller I'm definitely not playing. I already lean towards more modest clothing in Mabinogi, don't need to show off what I don't want to. x~x
I don't think my computer would be able to run that game. Hm..

^ I nearly forgot that. IF it does happen, they better give me proper time to buy a decent gaming Laptop. ~_~ I'm too poor for a desktop and my Laptop can barely handle Mabinogi right now.
I honestly wish they'd leave the Vindictus-like things TO Vindictus, though.. but I am interested in seeing how Mabinogi 2 ends up.
I wonder how long it will take?

A semi mabi/vindi fusion sounds cool though
Just probably not gonna be hack and slash
Hoping they'd make archers actually have to aim their arrows in Mabi2 though or any projectile based things
It could have some vindi style to it but leans more towards mabi( didn't Someone say they're already making the Ui look kinda similar to vindi in G13/14?
