That's kind of funny though when you think about it...
Considering how the 'rogue' dragons are 1000 times more difficult to kill.
I guess in mabinogi, great responsibility doesn't always come with great power.
Well, Crumena we fought was toying with us. After he got done playing with us in the cutscene he wiped us out in one hit and it takes Taunes to take him down.
Cromm Cruiach we fought is just an imitation.
Also it's said in g8 that the strongest dragons are chained in Zardine. Most likely every now and then, when they have a "contract" they can leave Zardine to fulfill it, however they seem to be entrap. The Dragons we fight are probably rouge dragons or weak ones that the slip under the barrier once a year because they aren't strong enough for the barrier to keep them restricted.

lol'd.
I find the read very interesting. I haven't done g11/g12 but from what Morrighan said I guess we're approaching a status she doesn't want us to have, possibly the lesser god. While some players are likely that strong already, plot-wise we're not there yet.
I know the game often treats the player as the only one of his/her kind (as the sole "savior" or whatnot) but it's kind of funny to think about all these lesser gods running around Erinn. 8D

I love how Mabinogi is one of the only games I know that actually has a storyline that reminds me of a book. A really, really interesting book at that.
It makes creating little backgrounds for all my characters all the more fun. >> Mabinogi roleplay, anyone? Lmao.

Role-play based on mabinogi's lore sounds a whole lot better than all the things I've seen ingame <.<
and I don't think the player is really a lesser god seeing as we have transparent wings that doesn't last for a very long time (other than those battles that force us to trans)

If Morrighan and all them are lesser gods...
What does that make Nao?
[s]Eye candy?[/s] An angel or something?

User495 wrote on 2011-01-04 18:09
Probably more like an angel
Seems like a slave for gods though cause she's stuck in the soulstream and always has to guide miletians through it etc
She never really showed signs of any power either xD
(she's also a dead Mari, which so far I don't think any of the current lesser gods needed to die first to become one)
(but then again Nao is like a rebirth/reincarnation kinda thing)
Edit: nvm she's a ghost, most reasonsble explanation I can think of

Angel honestly seems more logical. I can't imagine a ghost being able to resurrect people, give them gifts, etc.
Unless we're talking about a ghost with powers.. as odd as that sounds.o.o;

It is explained that Nao is a goddess, albiet one that serves Morrighan, in that she stepped up into Lia Fia in order to become one, as explained in g3.

Hoping to see Macha resurrected in later generation by Cichol. Being titled Goddess of Destruction, she must looks badass ^^
