Claimh Solas was a Sword is what I was getting at but yeah your idea works too o3o
But she didn't get chewed up by a Dragon :O
I was guessing Cichol would successfully res Macha with the help of Nuadha and then they become the Trio God who seeks revenge. But in Macha's case, she goes after Lugh/Morgant after discovering he slept and had babies with her sister. Bringing Triona, Ruairi, and Morgant back into the story /o/

Interesting study.
LOL man that is so old, that guy is long gone, either that or he's using Arrucard or some other alt to be playing again
and Dragons don't usually eat something and they turn into a giant demon-zombie-like thing with sword wings (then again that was the alchemy experiements that did that wasn't it?)

This is one thing that I love about Mabinogi. It actually has a pretty good storyline! Actually, I remember reading this somewhere, not on mabidata but on the wiki.....though now I can't find it. Anyway, it's true that the Dragons are stronger. If Nuadha is the King of the Gods, or at least, a very powerful person who managed to get up to "God" status and is the leader, then that can be shown as proof how strong the Dragons are. Don't forget that Crumena needed our help to kill Cromm. I want to see Macha as well, and they really need to get back to the original story after all of this Shakespeare stuff. I also have some feeling that if we ever have a final battle with Cichol, his hideout may possibly be that area of darkness in Metus. It REALLY needs something done to it. Finally, g11 has confused me about Morrighan. Though, now it seems like she's corrupt a bit, doing things for her own desires...whatever they are.

I am now semi interested in Mabi's plot now. Thanks!
^ this LOL, haha.
But I didn't really know anything about the gods...since i'm still working on earlier generations.
Great read!

So... Macha is a half naked goddess of a woman, with big large bouncy round breast and tangled stylish hair coming out of the ground out of a black portal in which she uses her hair to entrap milletiants and force them to do her bidding.

Soooooo, lesser gods are weaker than dragons
We all kill at least 3 dragons per week, what does that make us o_o
Correction, we get groups of dozens powerful and never stop gaining power militiants and ZERG RUSH the hell out of the dragons.
Btw no one mentioned this but Fleta and Tin are Millitants as well seeing how no one knows how old they are and they are known to be much older than their physical bodies suggest.
And I think Nao is the only native of Erinn to have rebirthed... This could suggest why she has such an angelic presence in Mabinogi.

Claimh Solas, is a spirit sword/Ego Weapon though, (just imagine having that thing as an ego) This is probably why the thing ate Fallon as soon as it appeared, we all know how much ego weapons like to eat......
Also if you talk to the blue dragon in the game he explains how Dragons are more powerful than the gods.
I think Nao is equivalent to a Milltian Goddess, not worshiped by anyone but the Milltian race. ..maybe...

Claimh Solas was the sword used by Nuada (also said in OP), and it was used in the battles of Tali prior to g9. I think it was lost or something and they wanted to revive it but it was all a trick by the Fomors so that they could use it against them. I love the BGM for the fight btw :D
Lol if Dragons are more powerful than gods, wouldn't sandworms be more powerful as well?

I love how Mabinogi is one of the only games I know that actually has a storyline that reminds me of a book. A really, really interesting book at that.
It makes creating little backgrounds for all my characters all the more fun. >> Mabinogi roleplay, anyone? Lmao.
That'd be because it IS a book. The Mabinogion is a book series of ancient pre-christian celtic mythology.
Honestly the storylines from g1-g12 are quite good if you actually get into them. G13+ though i don't even want to call the game Mabinogi anymore as it jumped ahead something scary to.. shakespearean plays? I don't know but that's what kills it for me not the classes or anything.. the utterly random and unnecessary storyline additions that just make me think of high school and junior high all over again. Love shakespeare but nty. I do know there is some debate on that though as many of his plays dealt with mythology similar in context to welsh mythology.
I actually started working on a fan fic/RP based around Mabi's storyline because I liked it so much and i was bored.
Yea..
Honestly ancient European mythology like the nordic, welsh and celtic stories are probably my favorite ancient histories to discover with Egyptian mythology coming in second. Asian mythology is interesting but it doesn't compare for me. That's just me though and i kinda like my ancient history and wish i knew more about it.

G13-G16 seems to be completely spin-off stuff, it involves Nele the bard doesn't it >.<(?)
I kind of wish they would go back and fix up the Mabinogi Storyline a bit, make it have voice overs an nice character movement like in G13-G16, (Complete iria storyline fix :D!?)

^ G1-3 revival plox.
Oh I forgot to mention some stuff, Devcat just made up. Like the Brionac, the original name for the weapon didn't sound nice to the dev team so they changed it.

I agree, lol. I mean I can see a bit of the cross over but... it's a big leap and obvious filler. As much as i respect shapespeare a great deal... this isn't the place for it imo.
If they were to revamp the game it'd be a great help to them. Sadly this game isn't as loved by it's developers as some games, which disappoints me as I feel they had an amazing idea ahead of it's time a bit.

Filler is better than nothing, look at the poor koreans stuck with no story during g4-6....
