it does seem overdramatized, but the betray I think came from the fact that he made him miss the time for the Mainstream quest (makes him wait another mabi day)
implying that you actually read his post :thumb:
also I can SLIGHTLY understand the pet thing if that pet symbolizes something to him (you know how the most significant things can hold value to different people) say a gift from a loved one, or whatnot, only if that was the case I could understand somewhat, otherwise yeah he's a doosh from your story
everyone is right that you shouldn't take it so seriously, but then again I guess he took it pretty seriously too huh xD
Actually, I skimped through it.
But yeah, it's like a whole ball of rage until you realize that they broke friendship over the stupidest of all things possible.

A mabi day = what, 36 minutes?
It's not a big deal. People get caught up in the head of the moment and forget.
You could run another mission or something in that time. It's not like you have to sit around doing nothing.

your friend is a doosh. be glad he stopped being friends with you.
and your record is still new so one loss doesnt mean the end of the world.
when i fight my friends i usually do barehanded at 0-1%, and we all welcome each others' fh, even though fh is supposed to be considered dirty. we dont mind because it is a friendly match, just for the luls. and i dont mind losing to my friends because we both have fun doing it. i do think mirage is bad for dueling though, even in a friendly fight.

In the bigger scheme of things... PVP does not matter.
If you feel betrayed by such actions from said person, then move on.
You can cry and mope all the day long, but nothing positive will be achieved by doing so.

To put it more nicely; it's just a game.
Though, I have had douche-y experiences with people online. So yar, I actually do hate it.
Especially when they give you an account, break up with you and then take it back. 8I WHO DOES THAT?

Wise words a friend said.
"Why you mad? It's just a game, QQ less, Pew Pew more"
And the only words of advice I can give are:
"Why dwell on the past when you could be making your future so much better."

Honestly why take pvp so seriously?

There's no need to make personal attacks on your fellow players.
...
Mabinogi drama is pitful to me. You should not trust people that you have never met. You shouldn't even trust the people that you have met. Human beings are capable of anything and you should be prepared for both the good and bad.

Sounds like a person who lost hope in human kind :S Btw every game is like that and there are worse situations than that one. But I do think that your friend is at fault here, you shouldn't even consider him a friend anymore.

Some of the posts in here are really mean, guys. x.e And not just talking about responses to the OP, either.
Anywho...All I can say is, don't be discouraged by people, even if it feels like there's more jerks than nice people sometimes. There's always nice people somewhere. Not to mention, PvP isn't something you should get worked up over. If a person is ALWAYS like that (as in always a jerk), though, it's a different story

win/losses in duels are not the same for everybody.
I get furious over any loss, while some people just 'xD gg' over it.
