she does have the power to summon us at her choosing, at least outside of TNN

Isn't Nao just a guide of the soul stream? I don't think she has the powers to remove it.
She brings us into this world and gives us new bodies when we need it. She should also have the power to remove us or Morrighan can destroy the soul stream, which may not also make us disappear but may have deep consequences in Erinn, in general.

Hmm, the plot thickens!
As long as there isn't difficult to understand Shakespeare I approve of the direction this is going.

It's pretty easy to understand, actually, since you get vivid imagery to help you understand.
Also, while we're still on the plot of G13...
SPOILER
After the G13 credits, Shakespeare talks to you, and then there's an image with the silhouettes of four figures. Grim Reaper is clearly one of them, implying that the other three silhouettes are that of the other 3 C4 bosses.

End of Mabinogi: As we reach the climax on the final battle, a final cutscene rolls. A fatally injured morrighan conjures the last of her power and sends the miletian soul back to the player's world, effectively disconecting him from the server.
You see the character login screen, but instead of the usual "Start mabinogi" box you see a system mesage thanking you for all the years you supported the game and inviting you to try mabinogi 2.
"MABINOGI GAME SERVICE HAS ENDED, THANK YOU FOR ALL THESE YEARS SUPPORTING US. PLEASE JOIN US ON A NEW ADVENTURE IN THE WORLD OF MABINOGI 2!"
LOL
@Thread I like Shakespeare so I'm okay with the new updates :3

To imply that Shakespeare would be lame for any reason is downright absurd.
This.
I find it amusing that people can show so much interest in the rather poor Mabinogi storyline while simultaneously discrediting what are largely considered to be the greatest pieces of literature ever written.

That's your opinion. My opinion is that I heavily prefer the easily read Mabinogi storyline than something that is complicated to read and understand.

The Mabinogi Story would be great if they actually bothered to delve deeper into some of the plot threads.
You can't in your right mind think that a "Noitar Arat Pact" did not come out of ****ing nowhere with little explanation or reason.

I look at the whole story. I don't focus on little things like that. Why anyone would focus on pure details instead of the whole picture can't be in their right mind.
See what I did there.
Please, don't use insulting language like that, just because we don't think like you do.

The mighty power of the cutscene.

Except that it's basically the whole reason G10 ends like it does. It's the whole reason the boss is what it is, and the whole reason we even acquire Neamhain's power in the first place. Yet it's never explained at all what the point of the Noitar Arat Pact is, what it actually entails. Just that Elatha died.
The story always feels really forced when you're just expected to go along with something totally foreign that they have no interest in explaining to the player.

When I think of Celtic Mythology, my first thought is 17th century English playwriters.
That said Shakespeare's got a lot in common with the average video game plot. Action, violence, backstabbing and sex are kinda his modus operandi, aren't they?
I still find this whole arc to be completely absurd, but it's not Shakespeare's fault. I just don't see how it remotely fits this game. Chalk it up to the new director, I guess.

XDD I laughed my arse off while reading this thread xDD!! Shakespeare's plays being hard to understand due to the language used? I read Shakespeare's plays and understood it half a year after I learned English (at least to read lol), even though my knowledge of the language was pretty vague.
Everyone has right to their own opinions, but degrading something that's thought to be some of the greatest plays in history is kind of....eh :S Saying "I don't like it" is very different from "It isn't good". It's like when people see a Picasso for the first time and go "Wtf is that?O.o", I'm one of those type of people, but I do know that it's me the one who can't truly appreciate its true splendor.
So yeah, back when we were reading Shakespeare in class, many people went to sleep or started chatting, but well, those people weren't very bright to begin with (not that I'm bright, but I like to read stories) :S.
That's all, sorry if it seems like I'm defending Shakespeare, but it annoys me when people who can't understand something comment about them as if they weren't worth a dime (too many people at school regard manga and anime as childish just because they haven't try them out or did it but couldn't understand >.<!).

If you saw the G13 credit's you'd also see Shakespeare controlling hamlet and that guy he fights, meaning he could be the final boss of c4. The one who controls Avon and all of it's residents.
