You Need to Get Off Facebook

  Facebook is not a big deal. Just like email or an IM service, it's convenient and that's why people use it. It's also fun.
  
  People will judge you everywhere you go, not just on Facebook. You just have to be confident in yourself.
  
  I personally have not seen anyone on my Facebook friendlist say, "ROLFMAO POOP" or "did u bin to dat place??". There are people who indeed complain and whatnot, but that happens everywhere. Even here.
  
  It's really not a big deal. You get one if you want, you don't get one if you don't want. lol

  That reason isn't what made me convinced. It's the fact that you see people's status updates from around the world, all the time.
  
  You never get the special feeling of catching up, or even caring very much if you do happen to see them. Everything just becomes a meeting, instead of a special moment to drop everything and catch up. I guess it's good to keep tabs on people, but as long as it doesn't depreciate from the value of actually being with them.

  This video is assuming that everyone who uses Facebook is a Facebooktard. I don't play games on it and I only have around 100 friends. I just use Facebook to communicate with my chums and plan stuff out. I do agree with the "800 friends" thing though. I'm a pretty popular guy at my school and like I said, I don't have a ton of people on my Facebook. I just add people that I would need or like to talk to.

  Really? It's quite the opposite for me.
  
  When I don't see my friends over a long period of time, we talk on Facebook and we always plan out things to do, and then when we finally get to hang out, it's always so much fun.
  
  Of course, out of all the friends I have on my Facebook, I probably only speak to like 10% of them. And I don't think I'd ask for more. But it's good to know people, when you need a job, when you wanna buy something.
  
  "Just applied for a job at XYZ. Hope I get it."
  --> "Oh, really? I know someone who's working there. I'll recommend ya."

  "Looking to buy a small television. Anyone?"
  --> "I have this small TV that's been sitting in my closet for awhile now. I could sell it to ya."
  "Oh yeah? How big is it?"
  --> "Not too big. It's kinda old, but it still works fine."
  "Sounds good. Can I pick it up tomorrow?"
  --> "Sure, just lemme know when."
  
  
  Facebook is about interacting with people. Co-workers, old teachers, old classmates. And yes, there will always be people who will hate you for no good darn reason, but why should stop you from being on a website like Facebook? It's so darn useful, especially for this age and time.
  
  As for not caring very much, maybe it's not Facebook. Maybe it's a problem with the friendship that needs to be fixed. Facebook doesn't replace the meaning of true friendships, people do.

  I like how it addresses the issue of someone that you hate and asks for a friend requests. You can't exactly decline, but you don't want to accept either.

  I don't use Facebook like that, but I liked how he was in an Asian country. XD All of them were giving him looks as to what he was doing.

  But Facebook isn't always the problem. Sometimes the problem can be as simple as a game... Like Pokemon.
