For anyone high school like me or already have finished
What did you feel about your overall or current high school experience
I feel like mine is fun but hard at the same time
Taking chemistry at 10th year with ap history is nothing like how freshmen year was It makes me glad I went to public school. I could of gone into a trade school for something like culinary or IT but i choose public and i dont regent it:lol:
On a side note did are your suppose to learn quantum mechanical model and electron configuration in basic chemistry?

Where the hell do you go to school that teaches quantum mechanical model and electron configuration in chemistry? o.e;
That's definitely Physics C (Kinematics) and Physics B/C (Electromagnetics) respectively.
Are you just BS'ing about taking those AP classes early? It's really possible with your spelling/grammar errors.
Things aside...
I'm a senior in high school getting ready for college. I've been hit with senioritis pretty early, so that's a problem.
On the other hand, I was pretty much alone for a lot of my high school career, since I am the introverted type. I would just carry around my laptop and just watch anime or play VNs during free time.
Even as I was isolated, I don't regret not being able to make friends or anything like that; since I actually take pride in the fact that I'm a serious Otaku. People might make fun of me, but I just laugh and say that this is my hobby, and I'm not embarrassed about it.
If I was to have a regret, I have two things.
1) I guess it would be that I didn't try harder.
and 2) I am regretful of the fact that I didn't sleep with a girl during my high school career (Eroge FTW!) <-- If you don't know what this means, then you're better off not knowing.
By trying harder, I mean that I should have participated in more sports or clubs, and study harder for better chances at more prestigious universities. Other than that, I'm really happy with my high school life.
Now, I'm just nervous about my college life. I'm sure I'll get through it though, since that was exactly how I felt when I was graduating from Junior High School.

My school was very fun!
I learned lots, experienced many things, made a few friends whom I still hang out today. :)
Lots of drama though, but it was good. I didn't feel like it was great preparation for college, but that's just me.

My overall high school experience was pure fun. I had an accelerated elementary and middle school and had taken to teaching myself when I finally got to high school. By the end of my freshman year I was moving onto multi-variable calculus (regrettably, I have not used it much.) The curriculum was never a challenge so it bored me... and school quickly became a game of "how to make it by with the least amount of effort" so I can spend my time doing things I enjoyed. I became a delinquent by definition but my teachers all loved me and I build friendships that have survived beyond those I made in college.
In short, high school was an odd point in my life where nothing truly mattered to me, and thus allowed me to have more fun than I'd have before or after high school.
Also, pay more attention in English.

High School? I don't remember anything in High School being hard, even in all AP and Honor classes. Some of those classes is such a waste of time. I never understand why I had to learn about Shakespeare, and memorize their stupid lines. I hated the English/Literature classes so much.
I suppose the thing that separates High School from University is that you see the same people over and over again throughout your High School. Also, you don't have much freedom in your classes/school life compared to the University level. Then again, public High School is free as long as you paid your land taxes or whatever.
Yes, you are supposed to learn the quantum mechanical model and electron configuration in basic chemistry. Well, basic chemistry is usually Chemistry AP or something like that.

yes, quantum mechanical model and electron configuration are still basic chemistry
Both topics are on the SAT Subject Chemistry Test
remember that chemistry (in general) is the central science
where other sciences can relate such as physics and biology

High school was pretty boring at my small school.

well, i graduated with good enough grades with an great english teacher who actually gave me 94% in his class so i had no problem getting into uni. that was my favourite class of the day, it was my homeroom and he'd sing the national anthem like an opera singer every morning and often slammed on desks while teaching stuff like shakespeare. too bad he was horrible husband, what a fun guy.
the experience was average. only my math classes and statistics, as well as biology, french and english made a difference in my psych program. there's just tons of useless crap they make you take in high school, waste of time.
I had no interest in being a trouble maker, and little interests in boys at the time because they all seemed like immature punks. just glad its over with, the uni life is the one for me, however boys are only marginally more mature. >_>
it's probably just where I live, this place is considered the ghetto of toronto. need to go downtown or something.

Highschool was a complete waste here.
We didn't have any advanced classes. The only class where I did learn anything past the first year was math. Everything else was basically repetition of the year before.
Honestly could have just gone from the first year of highschool to first year of college, there was no difference in knowledge gained at all. I feel highschool was a waste of 4 years of my life and I'm glad I don't want children because there's no way in hell I'd let them go through the same.

I've been taking Honors classes since before I even got to high school, and this year I'm taking 2 AP classes and an IB class. I like how much more mature those students are than regular students. Well, maybe mature isn't the word i want to use...
My AP Chem class is kicking my butt this year though, and it doesn't make sense. :( I took Honors chem last year, made A's, even had the same teacher, and we learned the same things last year as we are this year! Goodness.
I'm currently really sick of high school though. I can't stand all the girls who can't keep their legs closed, and then whine and complain about how the man they were in love with left them because they're pregnant now. I also can't stand my best friend half the time anymore since she became drum major for marching band. So I actually quit band (for additional reasons though), and hopefully that'll make life easier. :D
But yeah. I think it's safe to say that high school is highly overrated. I am definitely looking forward to graduating in May, and actually wished I had opted for early graduation, because I would have graduated this past Friday.
