High School was boring for me... and I feel like everything I was taught there was useless, except math. And I guess History is needed if you don't want to look like an ignorant idiot.

I enjoy high school.
For me, middle school was miserable, socially and academically.
Freshman year was pretty much a breath of fresh air.
I've been doing better in classes, and my workload is heavy but not so much that I get stressed out. I doubt i'll take an AP course [we only have a handful of non-science AP's, just Economics, Languages, and Calc iirc], but so far so good.
The freedom high school brought after middle school was refreshing as well. Plus, there's almost always a place for you in high school as far as friends and socially, so yeah. It's not too bad. :')

Highschool is absolutely boring for me.
If I tried, it could be cake, but I don't, so its not.
I don't wanna try, I'd rather play Minecraft.
Ugh, feels so annoying when a teacher just reads off notes and expects you to learn. I end up learning better from just reading the book than from the teacher.

I graduated second in my class but it doesn't really feel like a big deal in the school I went to.
It felt so easy compared to college though. I miss the normal hours of sleep and how much more time I had to read. Ha..

I'm currently really sick of high school though. I can't stand all the girls who can't keep their legs closed, and then whine and complain about how the man they were in love with left them because they're pregnant now.
-.- this is my problem too.. I need to escort one of them on tuesday to the abortion clinic since her ex is a devout christian and doesn't believe that children are a big deal, and blames her even though it was his fk-up. these type of men deserve to be castrated.
the kind of neighborhood i live in makes this bs a norm.

In my family, abortion is a big deal. It's a big deal to me too, depending on the situation. If you can't keep your legs closed, you're just stupid. If you were raped and end up pregnant, that's a different matter entirely.
I have a high-school friend who can't seem to learn her lesson, but she's kept two of the kids. She got pregnant halfway through high school, aborted, got pregnant again and had the kid. Some abortions in between and now another baby. At least she does take care of her kids, but the kind of lifestyle she has sometimes just scares me. I'd hate to be in her place.
Our school got tagged fairly often. Lots of stupid things going on. Stink bombs on occasion. Guy's bathrooms getting closed as punishment for what a few did (that must have sucked for the rest of them), and then a random fiasco near the end of graduation year. We were having a super long lunch to celebrate and someone thought it would be a great idea to start a food fight. Lucky for me people knew I wasn't a trouble-maker and so I didn't have to stay and clean. I was also sent ahead as a messenger to let some teachers know that there was a mess that had to be cleaned up by some of the students in their class.

I just wish my High School computer classes weren't complete BS where I had to help the teacher explain stuff.
Everything else, meh boring, repetitive, I already did it in 3rd grade.

It was great till about my Junior year when my "best" friends decided to go waste away on pot and alcohol. Went and made new friends and I was more happy then ever.
Besides having to hear about all the girl drama because no one would dare drag me into it, it was a good experience. I really don't miss it at all though.

I had two different computer classes. One was for typing, the other one, I can't remember much except that I seemed to do well.
Oh, the drama. I tended to stay away from the sort of people that liked to "start ****".

I agree, it is a big deal. my sister needed one as well, but it was truly an accident, and it was with a man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with (currently engaged), so it shouldn't have been that big of a deal - however she still hid it from my parents since she was worried about their judgmental nature. My mother happened upon the abortion papers by accident much to her chagrin. It's not that big of a deal if it was a true accident, your parents just want you not to get hurt.
raising a child is a serious task. you can't just juggle them, work, and school; they require all of your resources and devotion. Students can barely do well in school alone. Yet many guys seem to think with the wrong 'head', and many girls just think of it as a form of contraception. It's sickening. That girl you mentioned with the two children.. i doubt she can have any enjoyment for her self for a
very long time..
I see rape nearly as bad as getting pregnant with some guy you're not committed to (albeit with a lot less psychological damage), and have one or the other not understand the weight of responsibility and have the baby out of some moral or shortsighted reason. It just precludes the whole 'single teen mother' scenario which raises more criminals than anything else. I don't even know what to blame. Poor education? the vicious cycle of poor parenting? At any rate i'm not allowing the girl im escorting tomorrow to go through the ordeal alone.
hopefully this isn't off-topic or anything. Sadly abortions and teen mothers are nearly commonplace in highschool.

I'm in an Online Highschool, so my experiences do differ a bit, but I actually prefer it over public school. If Middle School is any example of what was to come in Public Highschool, I'm glad I escaped it whall I could. Although there are some pros if you find the right Public School, i.e. constant interaction.. I actually find that Online Schooling is a much safer environment, especially if you're prone to getting sucked into things like alcohol, drugs, drama, and everything else that is (sadly) typical amongst most Highschools.
It is also nice because the Teachers ACTUALLY have time for you, despite having (on average) double the amount of students that Public School teachers do. No Teacher I have had has yet to neglect checking up on me at anytime and if you struggle, offered to help and formulate a plan to get you back on the road for success, as they called it.
Online classes are also great for helping to build a self-reliant personality early on; i.e. you know you can rely on yourself when you need to easily and help self-motivate yourself without people pushing behind you. (Although they do anyways)
The downside is you have a bit more organizing to do and during the final bits of your Senior year, you need to do a presentation in front of a School board so they can graduate you.
Not to mention collect work samples from each class. >>;

Highschool is decent here. Offers enough AP/Honors classes for me to get into college easily.
And it's pretty fun since I put in no effort whatsoever now.

That reminds me of my Middle School. Some kids would end up using their crap to paint on the stalls.
