Would he fight back if one day Man decided to revolt against Him and kill Him?
Or would he just succumb to death?

I'd guess God would personify himself as some lowly person just to see how people treated him, like Zeus did way back in the old days.

Wait. Jesus let Man kill him. And Jesus is supposedly God.
Wow, I think I just answered my question.

Honestly, though.. I'd prefer death, too, if my creation turned out as sucky as his did, LOL.

We're not all bad.
Do you honestly believe that?

The problem comes that if we can kill him, people won't believe he is a god and think he is just another delusional person like all the so called "prophets" in the past, present, and the future. Most religious people believe that their religion is the only true religion, and all others are false. Also, if we can see and touch him, he cannot meet the ideals of everyone since everyone has their own ideals of what is a god.
Also, it is like saying this:
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
Basically in short, any attempts of god making himself known to man is futile, assuming god exist. The only way for god to stay as god is to not to show himself to the point where he doesn't seem to exist, but still exist... somehow/somewhere.

I'd say he would accept death, yet man will suffer greatly as a result. Probably one of the following would happen :
- Religion will take a complete shift. Due to the death of God, many people will convert to a belief similar to Aetheism. Others may claim that the God they killed was not the real God and that he is still alive. Mass confusion ensues.
- God would be reborn somehow, just like how Jesus rose after being crucified. His murderer(s) may find themselves in hell if they refuse to plead for forgiveness or purgatory.

god rises and sets with us with every passing day,
he is the sun and the stars, which we can reach out and behold but not harm in any way.

God is dead.
God remains dead. And we have killed him.
How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent?
Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us?
Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it?

That is what Mabinogi is for. We obtain the Broniac in G11, tried to become a god, and even kill a god in G12.

Mmhm, I am indeed a cynic. I would be lying to say everyone I met was bad.
The majority are, yes. I myself am a terrible person.
Everyone, even those few, and I do mean FEW, people who are good.. it's just a matter of corrupting them.

I feel like you are ignoring the main question... if God was a being we could touch.

It seems like most of you guys are saying he wouldn't fight us because he loves us but I personally think he wouldn't fight us because he doesn't love us. I believe he created us as entertainment. Why else would he create us other than to make something interesting that would entertain him? He wouldn't fight back because he would want to see how his creations would react to a mortal God.
