This will help me with Herbaliusm..
Also, can you grow white, golden, mandrake, poison, and/or antidote herbs as well?

God I hope not.
The last thing we need is to make normal gathering worthless.

considering every player can get one farm, i don't think that's really one issue :I

Just golden mana base sun bloody so far according to guides/researchers
But basically this will make getting r1 pot making much easier plus we mages will no longer have any room to complain about nexon not having pots in shops.
I will actually be able to mage and not worry about hybrid skills cause my pot supply will be great.

Wait you mean I can have 33 FULL farms since I have 33 characters? Ranks herbalism to rank 9 on all my chars. This will make up for no adv play.
doing the math for fun...
320-640 manas a day X 33 = 10,560-21,120 = 1,056-2,120 stacks of herbs. x99% pot rate = mana forevah
I need to read the guide is it up to date?
But when will you have time to play? @_@

Archibald wrote on 2011-01-17 21:02
that was merely theoretical.
I would have 3-4 chars with full mana farms. 3-4 chars with full base farms. 1-2 with full golden farms and mixed for myself.

or u could have 6-8 characters farming mana herb, and just pick base herbs outside dunby :D

amazing, just absolutely amazing. Finally something to relieve the mage's mp crisis!
Of course there were past solutions to mp problems:
i.e. cheap mana elixirs
300 mp pots sold from an npc
rafting for tipping suits + mana herbs.
Sadly, the 1st changed, 2nd removed, and 3rd about to be unprofitable.

But the 4th one overshadows them all. $.$

There is currently a point to normal gathering? (assuming you're referring to picking herbs from dungeons/solea)
Picking herb pets doesn't use herbalism skill, confirmed multitudes of times over by myself and others over the years. Rafting for herbs certainly doesn't. If these farms make use of the herbalism skill, awesome. I'd consider that "normal gathering" and would make the skill useful for it's intended purpose again.

At least, in KR test, it's character-based. But I can't read Korean on Gameabout, so I'm going with Herro, being the translator here. I am not sure if it trains Herbalism, since I haven't bothered to get that.
For the most part, this almost entirely replaces any previous means of getting MP.
Guide is a bit outdated, I think.

hopefully NA nexon fixes the huge load of glitches farm comes with.

Deitylight wrote on 2011-01-17 23:40
This should be interesting for mages, alchemist, and potion makers alike, let's hope nexon NA doesn't pull anything foul.

If nexon was smart they'd make it premium or sell premium content for farms at least. (watch them suddenly crackdown on mult-account users like they did in vindictus x3)
