R1 life drain will instant kill anyone in most conditions. It drains them to deadly and deals a final blow the moment they reach it. Not sure how fast you'd have to pot spam in order to beat that. Course if they used it at minimum range you can try and roll backwards out of it. Course thunder and bows have longer range then cylinders too so its not a 100% win. The option is there though.

wait but after making a patch, how many times can you harvest from it? cuz according to what you said, if you invest 30 mana herbs to make 1 patch, then can only get 8 herbs out...isnt that a lost o___o?
The patch will remain after you pick them all, and refresh the next day. Youll make a profit after a bit (in general 3-6 days)
On another note -scribbles title for self- Herro friend of Mages XD

There's also Frozen Blast + Life drain. If you got high ranking frozen blast and ld. You could essentially freeze them, wm yourself to low hp, then Life drain them. Since they are frozen they can't pot, and mana shield means nothing to LD (I use this tactic during the capture the flag event when people with high ranking mana shield abused it). Of course, you could also use poison and poison them during frozen state or use mirage missile.

So if I understood the info correctly from wiki and the threads here:
- The farm is yours forever once you get it
- Every character on your account can get one
- herb patches regen every real day and last forever once you have created the patch
- at this point in time it's not a premium feature
If all that is accurate it sounds pretty awesome. Only thing left I wonder about is the production items like anvil/loom. Do they have the 100 use limit like the housing ones? If not, that's great too, but then they server no purpose if we can't summon pets or have easy bank access since we need to get our stash of materials from somewhere...

Silly goose, that is what your billion Korean bags are for.
Though... I really do look forward to farms, if for not other reason than the herbs... other stuff might be nice, but I'll have to see... If I happen to put off enchanting 8 that long... it would make it much, much cheaper. I sort of doubt I will though, destiny is going to speed up the process a bit.

To my understanding there are no time limits to farming items you can build, as far as I'm concerned i went into my own anvil a decent amount of times. And even then you gotta consider this at a production point. You can be metallurgy-ing at the waterfall, and when you got yourself a full inventory of ores you can easily warp directly to your farm, use your furnace, then warp back into the spot, storing your ingots on your pet and move on.

Quote from Herro;293812:
First off, allow me to clear one thing for everyone wondering about G14's Farming:
G14's Farming is for all players, service or not.
With that out of the way, allow me to explain the process of obtaining one.
When a player logs in they will receive a quest from the owl, the quest comes with the Farm Permit. The quest has one objective, simply create the farm. Use the Farm Window (refer to the Farming guide, for this is no guide) to create the farm to receive 1 pickaxe, and 3 strawberry seeds and you're on your way!
With that out of the way, allow me to explain something I noticed with farming. It takes 30 herbs to create 1 mana patch, which equals to 3x3. In the farm level it takes to make them (level 7 farm) It means your farmland will be 24x24. Now if you were to remove everything you could fit 8x8 squares worth of mana herbs, making a total of 64 mana herb patches, which brings me to the next point.
While harvesting the herbs I noticed something, I would obtain more than 5 herbs per patch. Mostly 5-8 (only one time being 5) I tested to see if it was the weather of the map i left to enter the farm, and got 8 herbs off sunny weather. Now don't get your hopes up, my farm is in vales. I need to test the weather in vales (will do it tomorrow). Anyway assuming it doesn't matter what weather is and give a random from 5-10 I would assume that with 1 patch you can get 5-10, with 10 you get 50-100, with the field full you get 320-640 herbs per irl day. Combine it with a field full of base herbs (just need to get to level 4 for bases) and you can, absolutely have mana potions for life...
anyway that's just a thought, sorry for rambling on. Continue with your day.
P.S. And the mages rejoice!
Can white herbs be grown? I want forest golems for life.

Base, Mana, Bloody, Sunlight, Golden/Mandrake (too lazy to translate that one to tell which one it is XD)
HOWEVER there is one thing I have noticed....When I create my farm I would get a message (in korean) informing me that I did. Most of it I cannot read but one thing i have noticed (regardless of where i placed my farm) is that the message mentions Type A. What does it mean? No clue. What will it bring? only time will tell.

I think only base, bloodly, Yellow, Mana and Golden can be grown.
I dob't remember seening any other in the list.
It might be a possible future update to add more herb patch.. but right now only these 5 are availeble in g14

You could also gather spider poop/wool, fill inventory, warp to farm, weave, go back to gathering place, store threads on pet, go back to gathering. Combine with cash shop blacksmith coupon, and you never have to wander far when training weaving.

Which is why I'm no longer buying any herbs that can be grown on farms D:
I might horde some so I can easily plant a billion patches, but I'll be keeping those aside from when I find my own.
Still need to buy white/mandrake/antidote and poison though, but all the money I save on the other ones makes up for it.

I wonder if they will make it somehow difficult to obtain a farm though, sounds too good to be true to actually have farms for every single (main account and mule) character. There should be a catch somewhere.
I think the most valuable to be planted on main accounts will still be the gold/mana herb patches. Base/red/yellows probably should be done with mule characters. It should be fun raising so many farms on the main account.
Only trouble is that I'm not sure if I am willing to raise production mastery on the other mule characters....
