  Considering the fact that the way the director has stated in the past he wants to curb summon golem's power is mostly through limiting the supply of snow golems, I highly doubt the cuilin stones being added to private farms will provide finest stones, or possibly even fine stones. You're probably going to get big gray rocks you can mine low grade and common cuilin stones from, just like the ones in Sliab Cuilin. Considering how many rocks there are in the public quarry, and how I never see them being much competed for... and the fact that it is already ridiculously easy to get your own private, instanced quarry of them... I don't see how the option is going to be a helpful addition to private farms.
  
  Unless they just plan to give us access to fine (and maybe finest) stones much more easily than the existing source. But that seems contrary to what else has been said.

  Well, they're giving us gold herb and mandrake patches iirc, so don't lose all faith in devCat.

  actually there's 3 types of Cullin stones you can make, i haven't made them personally so i cant give a verdict.

  Once I get bored of G13 content I'll come over to play with all the farm features for a while. The only thing that's bugging me is a lack of income but I might be able to solve that by fishing (hopefully).
  
  Anyway I really don't think anything should be done about finest cuilin, they are already easily obtainable as they are right now - just go and spam that mission and dig dig and dig.

  Perhaps.. Potion making rank will affect how much more effective potions become passively.. hmmm? or perhaps ranking it Lowers the amt of Toxicity you gain from Chugging pots? it may make people want to lvl this skill other then for the unneeded extra ranks beyond rank 8 (rank 8 u can pretty much get 99% anywhere) any day.. pretty much for mp 100's >.> mp 500's pls? lol... (don't worry it'll eventually get to that point you know it will- back in g2... hp stam 30's YES... powerful potions... hp mp stam 10's were like hp and mp stam 30's are now. I'm sure you never dreamed of having 100's or even 300's ingame... but surely enough... :P

  I realize this. I am torn. On the one side I see just how awesome the herb patches are... so I have to admit the possibility of lots of awesome in the other items that could possibly compete for spaces with herb patches.
  
  But I still can't just let go of the safety rail that is expecting very little out of devcat/nexon.

  Based on that, I would say low-grade, common, and fine. That alone will make training the skill much easier, and even perhaps make it more feasible to just create your own sulfur golems instead of using arat crystals to dupe them. I already planned to primarily use sulfur golems in situations I decide to use them at all, so that's fairly ok with me.
  
  As an interesting side effect... with g13 luring people away from shadow missions, and g14 probably doing more of the same... the traditional main source of snow golems will dwindle some. If you add in these mining places to personal farms as an easier, more convenient way to get stones to train golem from, there will be less incentive to run Stones of Sliab Cuilin mission, thus further reducing the supply of snow golems.
  
  Now all that remains to be seen, is when synthesis uncaps in g14, if snow golem+arat crystal+hw isn't on the new list of fixed recipes for high rank synthesis, then I think the skill will have received it's intended nerf.
