JP MML Shut Down

  I can volunteer on working on HTML/CSS/etc. I haven't dabbled much with PHP, but I can learn on the way (I had to learn some Perl in senior design). Feel free to PM me.

  Allright guys. I rewrote the code that displays the MML on the view page. It no longer strips out characters when I want to break down to the next line. Instead there is random white space so that it doesn't display all on one line. White space does not add extra characters so it will not increase required rank.

  Thanks, I'll hit you up for your html/css skills after we get a design for the site. After we get a little more established we can have the community vote on what they want the site to look like. The best tool I've run across for DB design would be SQL SERVER EXPRESS and using their diagram tool. I think you can download express for free.

  Might want to fix up the Japanese translations, but I recommend you ask someone better than me.
  
  I really liked Emueru's layout, with the categories on the left. Having the current sidebar thing is pretty pointless. Delete the tutorial, make a small link to >>>/Mabiwiki/MML [en/jp] at the top of the page in a small but noticeable (but subtle) bubble thing. Next to that, link to 3MLE.

  Remove ratings and replace it with the old +1 system. You can +1 a song you like, this way there won't be people going "I DON'T LIKE THE SERIES THIS SONG IS FROM 1/5"

  On a side note, while sites like these are really good for discovering music, it's pretty detrimental to have everyone taking stuff as their own. Music is there to enjoy, but when someone else claims to be the author of your work, you just feel bad. I recommend keeping this talk OFF Nexon Forums, and having it spread by word of mouth only. But that's just me and my crrrazy doujin habits!

  Copy the entire code, not just parts of it from the MML@ to the ending ;
  
  When you go to compose a song with the composing skill in Mabi

  Click on the button in red in this image (sorry about image quality Mabi is down will try to replace later) The button says "Read from the Clipboard"
  
  It will then put the entire code ALL parts at once into the score, you may not see the notes show up but if you look at side of each Melody, Chord1, and Chord2 it will say something like (456/700). They are there.
  
  Name Score, Click OK
  
  Not only is it faster at creating scores it also ends with less errors (less chances to copy something incorrectly, like a random space causing sync issues)

  I can take a shot at DB as well. I took an intro to databases a few years ago and worked with one as a project last year. Hoping for MySQL with a phpMyAdmin interface, but I can always learn if it's something else.

  I'll get a dev environment and a project management system (PMS) up for you guys over this weekend. The PMS will list all the todo items and anyone who's logged in can pick an item, take ownership of it, and add it to their own todo list.

  I tried disabling it and decided bouncing to another page sucks and doing so made it take even longer to load so I switched it back.

  Unfortunately if you create a song that requires more than 5 people playing at the same time, only 5 of the instruments will be heard.
  Also you can't have 15 people in a party :P

  mm the main reason I made this site is for the playback option. I'll be hosting the site offshore so it won't fall under certain copyright laws and will deal with the cease and desist letters when they come.

  Added a radio button group for tuning so when you upload a song you can specify if it has tuning or not. I also went through all the existing songs and assigned whether or not they have tuning.
  
  Switched around the members list a bit. It now displays and links to any song you may have uploaded as well as list how many you have uploaded.
  Example: Yogurticecream Solos(127)
  
  added a lot of Japanese support. If anything looks off let me know.
  
  I disabled the AJAX popups for the add,edit, and view pages because I have been experiencing what silentselene described. I imagine it's way worse for anyone outside of the US so gotta do whats best for everyone.
