also any feed back would be much appreciated.
For the website background/wallpaper, why not host people to draw something for the background, such as Mabinogi characters playing music or something? It'll relate to Mabi more, at the least.
Perhaps also a banner at the top that leads to the homepage of the site, like Mabination does. The "Home" link on the side seems a little small and is not very easily seen by some people. D:

Time to go upload my files. :>
Also, it'd be nice to have a "Cartoons" category as well since not all animations are anime, as well as a "Mabi" section maybe?

This (Except that wouldn't Mabi count under Video Game?), and how about a section for "Theme Songs" for those opening songs used in live-action TV shows? A "Misc." section wouldn't hurt either as some songs could fall under that. Also, Seeing the category names in all lower caps quite depresses me. Having it in proper casing would make it livelier.
All in all I say it's a good start for a version 1.0. I already registered and will get around to uploading sometime later possibly after things build up a bit.

I can add Cartoons to the categories no problem. Thanks for uploading.

Ya after the site get's a little more established we can throw a contest to the community to design a background, header, footer :)
Also I'll up the font size on main nav.
Thanks for all the great feedback everyone! :)
*I'm at work so changes will be done once I get home.

Nice job at creating a new database for MML. I noticed one problem with it right away and that was the format for storing the MML, making it hard on those like me that keeps MML stored in the MML@ code format, and not separated into Melody, Chord1, and Chord2. It also makes it harder to copy+paste and store MML into the clipboard for easy and fast score making. I remember the copy to clipboard button that the JP MML had making it very easy to get the complete code with no errors and without support of the MML@ format that button for the complete code wouldn't be possible.
MML@Melody,Chord1,Chord2;
Yes, it would be nice to add such a feature. It would be easier to import song mml's too from 3ML due to the fact that it copies MML in that format.

I agree. I already uploaded a couple touhou songs. Going to go on a hunt for more touhou sheet music and see what I can come up with via 3ML (I love that program so much)

Didn't know if you still wanted to make the songs playable on the website or not, but if you did, this might be helpful.
http://puu.sh/114y
It's the info for mabinogi instruments in a .def file. That way you don't have to use presets that only sound similar.

Mabinogi instrument presets in .dls:
http://puu.sh/114W
.def for the presets:
http://puu.sh/114y
But you probably won't need the japanese and korean parts of the .def.

I absolutly still want to and soon. It's my most desired function. I've been chatting with a Japense developer and he just emailed me a function that converts mml into .midi data. I can't wait to try and get it working. It'll probably be this Wednesday as I'll have the whole day to work on it.
Thanks for sharing the presets!

All right I
- added the requested categories
- fixed it so the Jam MML would display correctly and not stretch clear across the screen
- made both solos & jams auto sort by newest one added.
I'm looking into the "copy from clipboard" & "paste from clipboard" functionality.
* there is a button in place to display in MML@ format but I still need to do some work on it. the browser will strip out <b> because it thinks it's a bold tag
:sigh:

Convert the < and > to their html entities and it should solve that.
