The problem is probably that they had it playable on the website.
Take that off and it's just a bunch of text useless outside of mabi.
My thoughts exactly.

Bleh, I agree with the disorganization, but people can ACTUALLY learn to compose themselves instead of pretending that they made it themselves when they got it from that site.
Some people were saying before the Music Sensation event came to, "Watch everyone use the MabiMML."
I think that though, they should update the composer so we can actually compose longer songs and properly rank them instead of limited ranks..
I've seen people show it off to their friends in Dunby Square, pretending to claim it for themselves to look impressive.
/high fives/ I'm an original composer, and I think I agree with Ryi when I say that I really wish that some players on this game had a slight sense of originality and stop duplicating player's ideas.
Implying composers don't just convert midi files from songs that have already been composed by musical artists and then claiming it's their songs. Maybe you screw around with the pitch a little or so but you're still using a song that you didn't make. Getting really tired of so-called "composers" parading around just because they can use a few programs that require very minimal knowledge to use. I'd have it down to a T if I wasn't so busy studying.
If you're an "original" composer, please show me some of your songs that you have composed that are "original" and not copies or rearranges of other songs. Otherwise, it's fairly hypocritical to blame people for duplicating other player "ideas".
This is a game and all of the music played in it sounds pretty crappy and no one in there right mind would sit down and jam to it normally. It's for fun and getting all high-horse about it looks really stupid. Just sayin'.

Also I'd hate it if someone took something that I worked my ass off to make, normally it takes around two to three days to make a good music project come out correct without any errors in the song/either that or I get lazy/, but still some musicians hate having their ideas taken from them or used, getting no credit, then saying that they made it. In my opinion that just makes me mad.
People download/copypasta songs that someone else already did the "work" for converting to mml.
People do the minimal work it takes to convert a midi rip into mml.
People actually write their own songs.
Only one of these groups actually deserves any respect whatsoever.

I plan to open a bilingual clone of this site sometime in the future, but I'm so swamped with schoolwork it won't be very soon.
But I do think it's better to write MML yourself instead of taking it, although a sharing site is really nice to see other's work.
Hey any idea how the site was delivering the music via the play button? were people recording the music that they played then uploading a mp3? or was the mp3 automatically being created when they upload the mml? Sure would be awesome if it could be auto magically generated..
I was thinking of doing a clone too and was interested if you'd like to team up in creating a site or if nothing else then just being affiliates sharing knowledge and links after we launch.
