So, since we have the Blood Lord and all, what do you guys think of him as a raid boss? Is he what you expected? Does he need a power up? Share your stories. I'll start with my first few solo attempts.
So, as we all know, the battle begins in the Blood Prince's area. I walk forward and the goblins, spiders and jellies appear, causing me to lag. I begin to run past them and I see a red spider fly past me.
Me: The heck?
My lag eventually vanishes and when I turn around, there's no red spiders alive and there's one in the corner with finish on it.
Me: You guys must hate spiders too huh?
So I kill them and then kill the vampires. When I begin to walk towards the door, I look up and see a.....Huge...Spider Web...?!
Me: I thought I KILLED ALL of the Giant Spiders? No...No NO NO, I'm outta here. Blood Lord here I come, I do NOT want to deal with another big spider....
So, I enter the area and I make a fire. I expected the BL to be on top of the statue frozen like a statue. No sign....you know the drill, walk forward, he appears, blah blah. So, the battle begins and I watch him kill the vampires, while I'm lagging. They're all dead and my lag is gone. He stares at me, I stare at him. He flash steps, I begin running to learn his attack patterns. Next, I make the biggest mistake ever. Go ahead, call me a noob, flame me, I deserve it for this! I see a Life Erg Crystal appear. I look over at him and see he's in an attack animation.
Me: LIFE ERG!!! *goes to grab*
Blood Lord then teleports behind me and he puts his claws on fire, CLAPS ME, then uppercut. Blood Lord 1, Yanm 0. This was Normal Macha btw. TL;DR for the next battle, I enter and I touch him when he does the Flamethrower. Normal Macha again and this time, I'm one shotted.
I like the raid myself. It literally feels like a Horror Movie. 15-20 foot tall Vampire Lord Flash Stepping around the area, easily able to slice and dice us. No one ever stays still, we can't just spear him to death like the White Tyrant. He appears, we try to spear his face or charge at him. He teleports, EVERYONE panics and starts to run. He was what I expected though, with the combos and everything.

im a little disappointed, because nexon fked up it's physics to a small degree.
it's a good challenge though. it'll be more fun when the cap is raised later.

There are some glitches within the boss fight. For one, you don't attack in the direction of the camera, and something's messed up with his little fire storm thing (if you're where a fireball will land, you're stuck in an invisible box).
Other than that, that raid is scary as heck. The first few times I screamed a little when every time he appeared behind me. :T_T:

I enjoy the fight.
I've killed him enough to get 21 bloods and still enjoy fighting him. Especially as a Fiona when I'm in a party with no Staff Evie to heal, since that usually leads to me being the one of (if not the only) person to not die. Makes me feel like a total badass.
Definitely better than the other raid bosses. Polar Bear is annoying because of his range and the giant spiders are just way too bland.

I'm quite happy with the fight. His flamethrower thing is a bit cheap, particularly being annoying if you run into him while setting up a combo behind him, and he has no natural openings that last more than 2-3 seconds (except sometimes having retarded AI that causes him to walk slowly towards something). That aside, it's a fight you actually become better at with experience, and he can't wipe out your entire group in a second or two from everyone moving as a big blob.

I remember having to end up soloing toward the end of each raid.. I enjoy how he -can- become predictable, and you can have a degree of control if you have either a synchronized party, a good partner, or if you solo him well.

The level is way too bugged. Sometimes I can't snap, my character attacks in a totally different direction, bs hitboxes for some of his attacks, when you throw a palala there's a chance he might disappear, weird wall thing during his meteor shower attack, his fire breath attack sometime doesn't have the windup animation. Wow, that's more than I thought. He's fun to fight though, I'd love a battle were you fight all the bosses and then the final boss is blood lord.

I actually sort of wish they made an even harder version of the Moonchopper. One that would have an endless barrage of attacks at one side, and you'd have to get strategic places to attack him.

So far, I've successfully killed him once in a Raid. I love the battle so much, it's a nice change of pace from everything else. I just wish my lag wasn't so terrible....maybe THEN I could Spear that Vampire Lord in the face, like I've always wanted to, ESPECIALLY for setting me on Fire!!! True Horror Style Movie Raid he is....

I've noticed that only happens to me when a palala detonates the moment he blinks. If he's staying invisible for a prolonged amount of time, you might notice that his body is still technically there, and he's actually in his blind animation (his name will be there above his head and it'll swing around).
