  Basically, this is a Korean article on the Korean Christian missionaries being sent to the Afghanistan (and other Islamic countries but Afghanistan is the most noticable) despite the growing anti-Western and anti-Christian attitude there. Also, they were even singing Christian songs in a Muslim community. These people would be killed/held hostage by the terrorist forces there just like before in 2007.

  Idiots. It isn't like suddenly the anti-West, anti-nonMuslims feelings over there popped up yesterday. It has been there for a very long time. Those missionaries deserves to die for just going there. After all, missionaries are there to try to convert people.

  You said it yourself. People have different values and beliefs. We should respect them, not force our own beliefs on them.

  What you said is a belief as well. You assumed that missionaries don't force value and beliefs. That's where you are wrong. There are many ways and degrees of forcing.
  
  Regardless of what I say, the extremist Muslims there will still continue to kill those missionaries there for trying to spread their religion.

  I didn't assume, I know what korean missionaries do and they don't do things remotely similar to what radical "christians" do in US.
  
  Regardless of people's opinions about missionaries, they will face danger in the Islamic worlds. However, that doesn't mean they are dumb in choosing to face danger. It's same thing as saying MLK was stupid in facing danger by protesting against the white supremacy, he could have been lynched.

  Seeking freedom and equal rights is worth fighting for. Spreading your personal beliefs about Jesus to people who have beliefs of their own is... I dunno, a waste of time, IMO.
  
  Religion should be personal.

  Just don't knock on my door at 10 in the frickin' morning to preach me about God!! Heck, you can knock and you can offer me a pamphlet, but if I tell you I'm not interested, just go. Don't waste your time trying to convince someone who isn't willing to be convinced. That's a waste of time.
  
  I don't make fun of Christians. I don't bully them. I know some great Christians. But they mind my own business and I mind theirs.
  
  Because religion and personal beliefs should be private things.
  
  But yes, I question their actions. Parading door-to-door trying to make people believe in your God is silly. Just as silly as hanging a gay man in the Middle East for being gay. Or should I accept those hangings because that's part of their "personal beliefs and values"?
