Theres plenty of cheap meat substitute fillers.
You'd be shocked to hear how much of it you eat every day.

Yeah I thought that was kind of weird too... Though I would have to say that food coloring and corn syrup (high fructose corn syrup I'm guessing) and certain preservatives aren't particularly healthy.
Fast food isn't supposed to be healthy, and it's not like they're claiming it is, so it doesn't really matter.
But Taco Bell always claims to be healthy, low fat, easy to lose weight with their products, and they have the worst quality food.
The fact your source says "FDA-Approved Toxic Food Supply" REALLY makes me doubt its credibility.
The FDA may be a bit extreme on its push for healthier foods, but that should have absolutely no effect on their view of toxic/poisonous foods, i.e. they don't like them.
The fact is that the FDA approves a lot of really unhealthy stuff like High Fructose Corn Syrup and Aspartame among other things. What I also find hilarious and really sad at the same time is that I have yet to see an FDA-approved vitamin supplement. On the bottles, it always says that "The FDA does not approve of this supplement for curing or preventing any diseases". What it is saying here essentially is that the FDA does not believe that vitamin supplements can improve health at all (since that is the best way of preventing disease).
High Fructose Corn Syrup = Sugar from Corn. That is literally the meaning of the name.
Is that really so bad?
Aspartame has been under review many times, and it ended up being safe when consumed in moderate amounts. If a person chooses to eat tons of unhealthy, (and since it is a sugar substitute) sweets, then it is his/her decision against their health already.
EDIT: Vitamin supplements have no effect if you eat a balanced diet. Supplements are exactly their namesake. Though there is proof and evidence that Vitamins are good for the body, there is no proof that taking any amount over the 'recommended value' is good for you.
(It is very easy to actually get this recommended value, also.)
I love my Taco Bell.
And seriously, you get what you pay for. Fast food is bad good (health-wise), but still very delicious.
OMG BIG MACS
Yes, it is quite bad since HFCS is twice as sweet as regular sugar, meaning that blood sugar levels rise much faster when consuming HFCS. Many have theorized that HFCS is a major contributor to the consistent rise in diabetes and obesity rates we've been seeing in America.
Never mind the fact that aspartame produces formaldehyde (you know, that really poisonous stuff?) upon metabolism.
Yeah but the fact is that most Americans do not get anything near a balanced diet. As such, vitamin supplements are an excellent way of supplying nutrients that are missing from their diets. How the FDA does not understand this, I will never figure out.
Everything here is based on moderation and diet. If Americans could handle that, all of these problems would go away. This is the individual's fault.
I think one reason why the American people can't manage their own health is because certain regulatory agencies are telling them that HFCS is "all natural" and perfectly healthy. Also, because most Americans are so used to rushing to their FDA-approved pharmaceuticals every time they get sick, they don't see the correlation between their health and diet.
Thing is, all of this is taught in schools. HFCS is not all too bad, its just like sugar, honey, cake, pie, and ice cream. Moderation can be delicious.
