Many questions about brionac D:

1) How fast does it loose dura when equipped (rate per second? compared to ego?)

2) How do I get another one if i dropped the first/ lost it from dieing (excluding lost and found).

3) Like ego, does it loose dura sheathed?

4)not really related directly....but on a difficulty scale from 1-10, how hard is g11 if you're under lv 100 total.

1) I dunno if it counts as blessed, probably not, .05 dura every 5 minutes (timer is based from your last cc/login)

3)It should, durability decay builds up on unsheathed weaponry till you switch it back on at which point it loses it.
4)G11 is like easiest in this order Basic>Adv>Int>Hard

1. The same as any other unblessed melee weapon, as far as I know.
2. You can't drop it.
3. Yes. This applies to all weapons, not just egos.
4. Haven't done it under 100, but I imagine it's a 2 if you know how to play at least somewhat. Basic missions are really easy even on a low-leveled character.

Since it is one of those things that can't be dropped, you won't ever find it in lost and found. It always stays with you.

Except durability also decreases per hit. And if you wanted to prevent durability loss from decay over time, you'd be CCing roughly every 5 minutes, which is not only a hassle but also impossible if you're trying to get through a dungeon or mission. You lose durability faster from fighting than from doing nothing, anyway.

I said it can't be dropped. That implies it doesn't drop when you die.

What are you confused about? You asked if sheathed weapons lose durability, and we said they do. Chuugoku was just explaining that the durability loss from decay over time doesn't get applied to a sheathed weapon until you switch to it.

G11 Peaca is a joke compared to the real thing. Their stats don't scale to your level, but you only have to deal with 1-2 spawns at a time (usually just 1) and they attack in really predictable patterns. You can also bring friends if you're really worried. And most of the videos on YouTube show the final boss in advanced/hard difficulty. The stats on the basic version are nowhere near the same. As long as you're constantly paying attention and moving, you should be fine. You can also ask a Royal Alchemist for help if necessary.

They're referring to the glitch waaaay back when a weapon or equipment would lose large amounts of durability when a weapon or an equipment was equipped after a long time in an empty slot without relogging (Long, but true, lol)
Sheathed weapons do not lose durability people, and if you have a weapon already equipped on your main slot, you don't lose durability at all on your auxiliary weapon slot.

While the Brionac loses durability in a similar manner to nonblessed weapons, you should note that Brionac is extremely expensive to repair. I use it for...
1) Skill Training
2) Spear of God
...and that's it. If you want a weapon similar to the Brionac for regular use, get an ego two hander or upgrade a two hander with enchants.

If you don't use the Brionac much it will last you a long time. I have used it to train windmill 3 times, Alchemy Mastery once, 2 spears of God, and G12 Final and I'm only down 2 points. It's not as fragile as people make it outt to be. Also I think it's unblessed.

As for the difficulty of G11. I did it on basic and as long as you know what you're doing you'll be fine. I did it with no rebirths and my best skill being rank 8 windmill and no ego weapon. I brought one friend for peaca and had an RA help with the final. There are some challenge like with the goddess needle quest, but that's mostly an issue of not getting multi aggroed.

1) brionac loses 12 true durability while ego loses 7 true dura

true durability: The real durability of one item. On the window it just shows as, for example, 1/10 when it's on truth 1000/10000. Brionac loses 12 of that 1000 per hit. Which means you'll lose 1 durability each 83 hits.
And that means, it's 4 AP per 83 hits

2) brionac will never drop if you die, it's character bound item
3) yes, its on wiki if you have your weapon sheated, when you unsheat it you'll lose the durability
4) never did basic g11, but probably easier if you finish it before you get to 100+

My advice is to never use brionac to attack unless you're going to use spear of god. Keep it to help you to skill stuff that is a pain to, like weaving

I don't care what the wiki says, nor do I understand why these people are misleading you like this, but if your weapon is on your back it doesn't lose durability.

I've had weaponry ranging from ego weapons, to bows, to shields and wands, to brionac itself and had them on my back for rl days, without every logging off or switching weapons. If they suddenly lost all that dura when switched to main slot it would be very obvious, yet never have I lost any dura doing so. And I've habitually left my characters logged in overnight, often for days on end like this since G2.

Wrong.

Durability decay (from time) only occurs on 5 minute intervals (same intervals as Marriage Bonus and Ego Hunger). Thus, your auxiliary weapons won't lose any durability until you have them in the active slot when one of those 5 minute intervals passes. In which case, just like empty equipment slots, they will lose ALL of the durability for the time spent logged on.

This was discovered by me a long time ago when I had freshly repaired my Ice Wand Ego to 24 Durability, fought one dungeon room, and had 6 Durability left (something like that, don't remember exact numbers). I made a thread about it a long time ago, I don't remember if it was on MN or Guru.

So basically, if something important to you has been in aux for a while, relog before pulling it out?

Again, sounds like a glitch that happened to just you then. Because as I described above, I have never had this happen. Ever.
